What would you do?

How far would you go to provide food for your family? Say you lived in an area where there were plenty of wild game in your back yard and your family could use the meat. The game commission says you are only allowed to hunt during a set period of time and you were unable to procure meat during this period of time for one reason or another.
You are not able to make ends meet with the limited income you have and this would be one way to put meat on the table. Would you take the risk of shooting out of season?

If I had no other way to feed my family I probably would do it.Morally I don't think there is anything wrong with doing it if you are desperate enough for example struggling to get enough food,and your not being greedy.In my opinion for it to be morally acceptable you should only take what you need not anymore,it would become wrong in my view if you did it in order to make a profit.Though luckily I have never been in the position where I have needed to do anything like this in order to eat.

I do agree as a last result I would end up doing this as well. God put the animals here for us to use to feed our families. I do not go for those who hunt just for the trophy on the wall. As long you use what you kill and only kill what you will use at the time then there should be nothing wrong with this.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that would be a very difficult situation then but if we are not fortunate enough in case of meat then we can always go for the other options otherwise if we stick to meat only then we have to go without food for days as we are not allowed to hunt every day. so its better to look out for better options if meat is not available.

Meat is an important part of anyone's life as it does provide protein to help build muscle and growth to your life. I know there are other alternatives but for me meat is an important part of our meals. With the rising cost of meat at the stores, hunting for meat that is readily available to us is one way to offset the cost at the stores.

i would try my best and i would always give them what i am able to. I have found myself some online earnings here in mylot and i can find more ways to give them what they need and whatever i think they deserve because i love them. I would give my best in doing what i know i am capable of doing. If then I need to hunt only in season... then i would hunt as much as i could and save them for the so called rainy days. :D i mean we all must be able to find ways when there is a need to do so. People are able beings, we are made able to survive.

People who are desperate, most especially if it concerns their families would surely do any possible way they can.
