Is Taking Away Guns The Answer?

Well many people are advocating getting rid of guns in the USA. Here's a good point that I have heard. Did prohibition work? Has banning of drugs work? Well, that is about how gun control would work. Why don't we look at some of the countries with the low crime rate...i.e. Switzerland. Every young man has to enter the military there, where they are given a assault rifle and an assault hand gun. How does the left explain this? Another point that I have heard lately. During deer hunting season, there are more armed people than any army ever. The UN wants us to start weapon banding in the US. Why? Just because all the other countries in the world want the most power country to start disarming, can only be because they are scared of us. They know they can never invade us, like the can never been able invade Switzerland.
