why do people cry when they are sad ??

when you cry it is your body making your emotions physically manifest themselves. it is a signal so others will know you are sad. it is a cleasing of your emotions. just like the rain cleans the earth. you feel better after you let your emotions out. have a good cry and clean out your emotional pipes.

why do people laugh when they feel happy, for the same reason they used to cry when they are sad....

Because by crying we feel better and it is our first outlet when we are sad. Sometimes by crying we realize a lot of things that eventually leads us to solutions to our problems. And it keeps us going :)
