Balance between Professionalism and Family

It is really important to have a good balance between professional life and family. We have heard this from many cricketers that they retire before age to give time to their families as they were not able to balance it out. I think police officers also find a lots of difficulties in balancing their life. I have heard of many families where the lack of balance between professionalism and family creates a lots of misconceptions. I think this is a very important issue to be discussed. I would like to see the comments of people who cannot balance their life.

I can't say its unbalance in our situation. My hubby is not home the whole time due to his work (kinda far) then we can't see him the whole time. To cope up those missing days, he will have short vacant like 1 or 2 weeks to spend time with us. So that's how he deal with family and work.
