Addict in online games

I noticed this too. Even Elementary pupils are also addicted that is why a policy was made and implemented to internet cafes near the school saying 'No students allowed during classes hours'. This helps but I think this rule is sometimes being violated yet there is no immediate action from the local or barangay officers. I'm glad I'm not really into online games. I have no interest in those games. I wonder why these people are so addicted with it.

A lot of kids have been addicted to these games. And they just seem not to understand how they are ruining their lives. The have become monsters in terms of playing that much. I wish there would be some way to limit their accessibility to these games.

Well I confess I do play zynga (Facebook) games daily, but I wouldn't say I am addict to them, I see them as a way of passing time, I play Farmville2 and Township and a few bubble games, I don't spend long periods of time on them because I got other stuff to do online, Mylot, promoting etc. But I certainly wouldn't let it get in the way of work or study!

Any kind of addiction is bad for you, whether it's games...drinking....fast food... etc. Everything should be enjoyed in moderation! Especially for kids who are in high school or college - they should be spending that time studying or working, and not just playing games! Grr!

They sure are in my internet cafe.. these kids sometimes sit here for 2-3 hours playing game son facebook and chatting there. i can never do it. But Im glad they do it here, I like the business. merry xmas my dear friend.........

My brother is playing online games everyday and even attends events wherein all players are gathering and they are selling their armors and weapons and you will bid for the price. I attended once because my brother invited me. I just don't get it. I will not spend money just to buy an armor or a weapon of some kind for my online game character. My brother did not bet but is spending money to buy those things too. I guess some people consider this as a hobby so they are spending so much time and money on these games.

I wouldn't say I have ever been addicted to online games but I used to spend more time playing games than I should have done.Though this was mainly games on my play station rather than online games on my computer. The only game like that I spend a lot of time playing is Star Trek Online but that's mainly due to me being a massive Trekkie.Though I would hardly say that I was addicted to the game as I can only play it for so long before I get bored and have to take a break from playing it for a while.

I notice about it, friend. Most of the students today don't mind about studying their lesson and better for them study what strategy they need to win the games in Dota or any kind of games online. Now, I heard that Dota, gives prizes to any group of players who is winner and this is big enough that is why those children and adults addicted into it because of the pot money they will be winning?

I can relate to that.. I happen to be one of them during my high school and college days. Although now, I am already working, sometimes when colleagues come together or office mate(mostly boys) agree to play. We only play DOTA now because we really don't have time for other online games..but still we play and still very addict on it..

During my high school days, I was really very much addicted on online games. I even spent more time to it that studying my lessons and doing my assignments and projects in school. But, I came to the point of realization that I will be gaining any benefit to such online games. It would just be a waste of money and time in my own part. I stopped being addicted to online games. I am really happy with it. Now in my college days, I focused more in my studies. Since I am taking an engineering course; full of mathematics subject, I really got no time playing online games, even those games in Facebook. I shift now my attention more with what are very most important and that were my family, my friends, and also my studies.

Its only a bad addiction if it interferes with the rset of your life...

I am guilty of these games :) When I was in college I used to play online games a lot! Together with my ex boyfriend which is my boyfriend way back then. After lunch we would go on those net cafe and started p[laying MU, Perfect world, RF,Cabal online and Dota of course. We spent our time together playing those games, we spend our allowance to buy cards and to level up our characters. We spend over nights just to level up those games lol. When dota came in, my boyfriend have no time for me, he always spend time with dota and I can't see nothing special on it. One day I have learned to play that game and I became addicted with it. It's cool and nice to play with. I love the characters lol. I think if you became addicted to it it's difficult to stop. As of now i stopped playing but if someone would invite me to play well, lets' bring it on! even if I am already running 26 :)

i also once addict to gaming too. especially facebook's games. but after my collage block all the games, my addicted disappear. haha
