How come it's only him who sees that I've lost weight?!?

That's my husband, always making me feel good. Since I gave birth to our second child, I have been doing my best to lose unwanted fats. And, he never fails to praise me for being consistent with my daily simple exercises. He never fails to notice that I've lost weight and slowly getting my figure back. But, how come other people can't see that?!? Is he just trying to encourage me to work on my exercise more? My mother and sister still looks at me like I'm sitting in the kitchen the whole day. Well, I did lose weight, 40lbs in 6 months. I still need to lose more, to be fit, though.

Well you should continue and don't worry with your mom and your sister they look down at you for being lazy and just eating... but your husband don't look at you that way he believe you are working hard and you are now losing weight... Good luck and continue your exercise...

It might be that he is trying to be nice to you and wanting to work out because working out is good for you weather you lose weight or not. But it could be that what you have might not be that dramatic of change for your family to see or they are just blind, or assume that is all you are doing is sitting around but your not. For me it's different the lose of weight was plan as day to see because it was gone with in minutes of giving birth to my son.

What's frustrating is, that the weighing scale agrees to what he is telling me. Well, maybe they haven't seen much of a difference from when they last saw me, which was when I was on my first trimester.

I think that is great! He is not only praising/complimenting you on your effort and looks but I would think it is good inspiration and encouragement to you to continue to do the best you can to loose the weight. 40 in 6 is great! I think he is encouraging you to do more...that is great. I wish my husband was a considerate!

Why don't you want to do walking and other exercise? Isn't badminton more tiring than walking?
