What is one thing you would change about your life if you could?

I would have saved more money. I cant tell you how many thousands of dollars I have wasted over the years. I may not have been rich by today's standards but I would have been much more comfortable if I had saved. Its not too late and I am going to work on this concept in the coming year as a resolution to the New Year.

I would not have married my now ex-wife and put her career ahead of mine. As far as saving goes, I have always been good at that. It has served me well during my over 20 years of being unemployed. During that time I never got a single penny of unemployment from the government. I had save when I was working and lived just fine on my investments. So start saving now, I was not much younger than you when I got serious about doing it.

That sounds fantastic! I was mainly just thinking in terms of being able to weather a crisis such as a car breakdown or a small period of unemployment without freaking out where the money is going to come from like I currently do. Your way sounds much better.

Oh, this is a tough question, I would like to change so many things if I could...
But if it's only one thing, maybe I should chose the travels. I've always wanted to travel around the world, to visit many places. If I could I would make this the aim of my life. I hope to do it in the next life. Have a happy Christmas!

I have always wanted to travel too. And I have. Ive seen half of the USA. Doesn't sound so exciting but the land is so diverse that its a pleasure to the eye. Still, I have dreams of Italy, Mexico and some other exotic places. Happy Holidays to you, since Im unsure what you celebrate if anything.

That is easy, the one thing I would change is telling my partner NO instead of YES. If I had of done that my life would have spanned out so much differently and I wouldn't have had to go through 8 years of hell. I had lost my job and was worried about paying the bills to my flat, my partner said why not move in with me, and I stupidly did, I've regretted that decision ever since. If only I said no..... Good luck with your resolution.

One thing I would change about myself is taking better care of myself. You only live life once and you should take the best care of yourself that you can. No one is invincible. After being in the hospital for 10 days gave me a whole new perspective on things. A new year a new start.

I believe you may be right about that. There is nothing quite like taking care of yourself to make you feel good. I always feel much better with a proper diet and exercise program.
