Would you allow your kids to be interviewed after a traumatizing incident?

I know that some of you are really tired of talking about this shooting incident in Connecticut. I'm from another country and I just saw the funeral of the people who got killed in this incident. I can't help but shed tears over this situation even though I do not know them. The continued flashing of pictures of the kids and the teachers that got killed in this incident is really heartbreaking.
I saw that there are kids who were interviewed by media together with their parents just after the shooting. This is very traumatizing and I wonder, if you were in their situation, would you allow your kids to be interviewed by Media right away?

As for me,I do not willing to let my kids to be interviewed for traumatizing things, but if it is necessary and will be a good help, then I will let my kids to do it,but the base is that this interview will not cause some mental hurt to my kids.

I have objection as long as the there is a psychologist or a social worker who had a talk with the kid. If the kid wants to air this side or what actually happened there, it might clear up some things being promulgate din the media . the media,a s you know might be quite based in some incidence. However, if the kid doesn't want it,no air time. Kid's got enough horrific memories to last a lifetime.

I don't think I will allow any media men to talk with my kid right after such incident.
I will wait for the right time.
Yes, it's a trauma and talking with the kid right after the incident is not healthy.

Definitely not.. but I would like a psychologist have my children debrief. It will help them recover from trauma. but my media? ohhh no.. no .. no .. no way.

i will not allow kids to be interviewed after a very traumatizing incident. i will only allow them to be interviewed or handled by a psychologist during stress debriefings but never by media.
