Charity Event

Last year, December 2011 we had this Charity Event for the Typhoon Victims of Sendong here in the Philippines. It was very successful so one of my Co-Founders had another Charity Event called Live, Love Reach Out. The Founders, Admins and Members of this group are mostly Online Sellers and Buyers. Last Saturday, December 15, 2012 we had the Charity Event at Philippine Children's Medical Center. We gave more than 100 toys, balloons, Packed snacks from Mac Donald's Food chain and Tetra pack juices. I was just controlling myself not to shed tears. Those kids at the hospital are suffering too much, there are some new born and they are confine at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Critical Care Center. I hope the Philippines Government will allocate some for that hospital because not all the parents of the patients there have enough money for their treatment. It's so nice to do helping hands. It is our family tradition to visit an orphanage on the 23rd of December and we're going there tomorrow. It is really heartbreaking to see those children suffer from a sickness at a very young age. We also had a charity event there last year and to see those children happy for a moment is truly priceless. I'm happy that there are more people engaging in these events and try to help those who are in need.

God bless your family for the yearly tradition! Did you know that the Founders, Admins and Members don't know each other personally? We just met online because we are Online Sellers. Last Saturday was the first time I met them!

That is amazing! Maybe I can join someday too. I am also an online seller and sells clothes and accessories. It's a good thing you met new friends on such a nice event. I hope they will continue to have projects like those and maybe a fund raising project for cancer patients in the children's hospital. My friend was hoping to arrange something like that with the help of bloggers in the country. It will be fun to have a charity project together with the bloggers so we can help and make a difference.
