Piercing Ears

I was in high school when punk style was popularized. Men in tattered jeans and shoes, long hairs and pierced ears. It was the time when growing adults like me was curious for new things around me. Some of my girl's classmates and schoolmates have this "third piercing earrings" so because I wanted to be IN as well I pierced by myself my left ear using needle. Yes, I had the guts to pierce my ear with the needle! So I was wearing three earrings, one at my right ear and two at my left ear.
Then when I was in college I pierced my right ear using Needle.
When I was working I took out the extra earrings.

I also have pierced my ears actually I have five of them, two on my left ear, and three on my right with one on the cartilage area… it is somehow normal in high school to have your ear pierced it’s a form of fashion statement because in high school we tend to explore new things in life which we are curious about. And mind you, I had my ear pierced when I was in my junior high school years.

when i was in high school i also planned to have ears piercing but when i saw what my classmate will use to make piercing was the needle i backed out because they will pierce my ears manually with the use of that,so i only had pierced ear just last year month of December.

It was my mom friend who pierce my ears,when i was small and she use a needle.It was very painful,and I have that same piercing from then.
I see a lot of people,with more than one piercing.But I only want one piercing,and wear one pair of earring.
I love to see people who piercing their ears,an wearing nice earrings.But they always go the professional to get it done,I don't think I have the guts to pierce my own ear.

Actually tattered jeans and long hair go back to the 60s -- the Age of Aquarius or the 'hippie years'. Pierced ears have been around forever.
Now it's all about pierced tongues, pierced chins, pierced noses, pierced nips, no place is sacred and full-sleeve tats, etc.
However, I digress. I pierced my own ears too. Tried a needle, but that was too cumbersome to pull it out and then try to stick the earring in, so I ended up just using the earring to pierce my ear -- push it through, clip it, done.
It only hurt for a little bit.

My cousin has a piercing in her tongue and was not able to eat for a week but noodles. I'm afraid of needles so I only have piercings on my ears. I want to have a second piecing on the top of my ear when I was in high school but my mom threatens to ground me for life so I was not able to get that. I am fascinated with other people who have piercings in their different parts of the body.
