help! I am going crazy waiting. This semester was my first back and I was at some points, struggling to balance working full-time with online full-time classes (13 credits, 4 classes). I took Political Science, Philosophy, a Composition class, and a Women Across Cultures class. I was soooo nervous about Poly Sci & the Womens class finals - I thought I bombed both of them.
I just got my grades for these two classes -- both A's! What's even better is I have a 99% A in Poly Sci, and a 92% in the Women's class.
Now I am just waiting for my Philosophy & Composition professors to finish up grading and post final grades....
What if I get all A's? (This will be the first time EVER --!!) but if I get B's, I'll be very disappointed in myself.
UGH. I need to quit obsessing.
How can I quit obsessing?
And how did you do on this semester's classes?

Great job! And the way you quit obsessing is by distracting yourself. You could probably do that by talking about something other than grades on mylot.
I only took three classes this semester. A pre-college algebra course to get me back up to speed and ready for the real math credits, which I got a B on. The other two classes, an English Class for credit and a Ballet class for physical education credit (I was SUPER EXCITED when I found out I could get credit for taking it!), I got As in. And since my pre-college course didn't count towards my GPA... I have a 4.0! Now... if I could just maintain that when I take five classes next semester.

YIPPEE!! Good job! I am also going to have to take a "refresher" math course but I chose not to do that this semester. I am also taking five classes next semester - for a total of 18 credits. I hope I can swing it with work. But best of luck to you too, to both of us!

Well, since we have different time of school, we are still mid semester and just took the pre mid exams.. I kind of had the same feeling a few months ago, when the grades for the last semester was going to be given, i though i was almost going to fail in 2 subjects but i had good grades..

Good job! I had all but one A for my 6 classes. The one I didn't get an A in I have to take over next semester. It was my fault, too. The one F didn't affect my overall GPA that much. But I know I'll do better with it next semester.

I haven't got my grades as well, the university is only releasing it on 26 December after Christmas. My personal feeling is that I will do better than all my past semesters because I get to choose most of the modules myself this time instead of being pre-allocated modules. Anyway, the results may be important but the processes are equally important. The joy of truly understanding everything that is being taught is greater than merely getting A without really understanding everything.

Hi maezee.
First of all congratulations to you for the good grades in those two courses. Even my term ended last week. And it was pretty good than the previous ones. I am looking forward to keep up the progress this term as well. But so far I have been busy with other commitments like projects and submissions from the last term. Also we have a function coming up for which I have to spend so much time on practicing. Anyways have a nice day...
