How to Handle a Heterosexual Relationship??

I always find hard to handle a heterosexual friendship.Friends around me always told me that no genuine heterosexual relationship, which means only love generates between boys and girls. Of course it is hard to handle this kind of relationship, but i also have just a few girl friends.
It always happen in a such situation that i make friends with a girl, but with time passing i find i have a crash on her. However the girl have not such inclination and i am just a friend of her in her heart. It makes both of us feel uneasy, breaking the good friendship.
So guys have you ever experienced such cases? If you have and solved it, can you share me with your solution. If not, you can also leave your suggestions here. I will appreciate it.

I agree with your friend that there is no real love between such matter. Because attraction might not be a kind of love but a kind of affection due to some reason. You need to examine yourself if your the one attracted want to connect in such kind of relationship.

If someone tends to hold a strong affection directly and immediately like me, such kind of unwillingness of connection will lead to your heart break. Once you really are trapped in it deeply, there is no such kind of friendship existing.

If you can't handle just being her friend, maybe you need to distance yourself. I can only speak from my perspective, but there is a such thing as being overly persistent and it can become annoying. A lot of times, once a female has put you in the friend zone. there isn't much chance of you coming out of it. Not that it can't happen. You have to back off and give her time, but don't expect anything.

I appreciate your reply, which reminds me of my EX, who once also put me in the frined zone at the beginning. However, after my persistent pursuit over half a year and my meticulous care, she was touched and accpeted me. Though it has become a piece of memory, after that I started to believe that if you can really devote to onesef, whoever will be touched at the end.
