Gintama is my favorate comic and it's real different with other comics.
He don't have any gorgeous battles but still shock me.
His style of painting is not very beauty but the roles still attract me.
The jokes in this comic are a little vulgar but still meke me laughing.
I am Chinese, this comic is very popular in my country, I hope to know whether it's popular in none Asia country?If you like it too, please let me know ^o^

Gintama also known as "Silver Soul",is a Japanese managa written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized, beginning on December 8,2003, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump.Set in an Edo which has been conquered by aliens named Amanto, the plot follows life from the point of view of samurai Gintoki Sakata, who works as a freelancer alongside his friends Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura in order to pay the monthly rent.

what I like about gintama is that it doesnt take it self seriously making it very easy to watch, I also love it when they make parodies. they were like the only anime that does that. I do loe some serious anime out there but being Funny despite of looking serious is what makes me like Gintama, another plus for me is that it doesnt use the Moe art style,

I have seen one episode of Gintama. There were a lot of characters and all very varied. Many people find this anime fun. Gintama is a parody of all anime.
The first episode didn't really amuse me though, so I didn't watch any more. I enjoy Katekyo hitman, dragonball and hunter x hunter more though.

The character that I like from this anime show is Ijikata. The vice-commander of shinshingomi.
But of course I also like Gintoki and Kagura. I find the show very funny although sometimes the jokes are sometimes offensive.

I'm currently completing the anime episodes! I fell in love with the episodes. I like really funny anime where you do not have to think too much but you will laugh a lot that's why I like Gintama. Though it is funny, the issues being tackled are really serious - stuff like oppression, self-identity crisis, kindness to others, alienation, etc. They just present it in a really funny way. Plus, I think Gintoki is really cool!
