This is an author found under the genre of religion. He writes about Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelation and other themes that have such a different and refreshing take on the same old subjects. The book I am currently reading is REvelation Revisited: The Destruction of Our Times and it is refreshingly simple in its presentation. For example one of his statements in this book is 'whenever a man repents from something, that something is a lie. Wow! That seems such a simple yet profound statement to me. He explains why the mark of the beast cannot be a barcode and also addresses the issue of the identification of the anti-Christ. Anyone read this book? Have any ideas on these issues?

I have not read the book but it sounds fascinating. I'll see if my library has it. It sounds like its in a similar vein to The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn. The book is well researched and told as fiction but the facts are real--it explains why God has removed His blessings and protection from the U.S. and how that came to be, contrasting the country with Israel's fall a few thousand years ago. I know it sounds like a dry, boring subject but I could not put it down.

Yep, I'll try to find that one. I always love a good book! I like the Christian fiction by Frank Peretti, too. Talk about a book you can't put down!! The first two books he wrote are This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness. Let me know if you find those books to read. Again they are fiction, novel, not historical.

I read Peretti's books when my kids were little, must've been 20 years ago! They were really great and inspiring. I think you'll find Harbinger the same way. I found it in my local library so you can probably borrow it for free!

I just heard of this author recently myself. I have enjoyed what little I have had the pleasure of reading. I started reading his book on Acts. He has a very different view of things so I think his thoughts and interpretation of the mark of the beast and "end times" might be interesting as well.

I can tell that this would be a book that I'd very much enjoy reading! I'll have to keep in mind for when I have enough money to buy a book again. I have the feeling that this isn't going to be just your average end of the world book but will be, instead, something containing the thoughts of someone who dares to think outside of the box.

Thanks for the positive input here on my books. They are the result of 25,000 hours of Bible study and 15 years of writing. If anyone is interested in a free pdf version of my book on Revelation, you can reach me at jbconti@hotmail.com
