Fake tree or real tree for the holidays?

I like real trees, but in an apartment & I guess I am getting lazy in my old age, I now have a fake tree. But, my brother gave my son a train that goes around the tree, about 4 feet up in the tree! Which I think is cool, & it doesn't fit well on real trees. Oh well!

I go for fake. Real is nice, but had a real tree one year and I was still finding pine needles the next christmas! You just can't seem to get rid of them. Plus, real xmas trees give me a rash.

I like real trees and always had a real one. Now I just put some real branches in a large vase and decorate them. I like the smell of pine and the living branches. It makes my place cozy.

I have to get a fake tree because my 5 year old son has very bad allergies so I do not want to take a change of bringing a real tree in my house!

I used to get a real one when I was younger, but with everyone's allergies, it's safer to get the fake one to put up..

I don't think I'm having one at all. A real one makes too much mess and a fake one is just... well fake!
