The bad view of farmers?

Hi, My dad is a farmer, and everytimes we go into big cities they kinda look strange when we talk about it to people. We dress as everyone, etc. The point I wanna make people observe with this post is that what everyone sees in movie, medias, etc isn't the reality we are living in. Farms are getting informatised as shows the Farmer GPS controller my dad and I are building up. www.farmergps.com So can anyone tell me other place that reputation might be from?
