I have thought about it in the past, and it was brought up today. I know Marco has an attitude, and not sure if he would get along with them.
Many of them get aggressive, or behaviour problems because of the lack of intereaction and just the house setting.
I have been thinking about it, and may ask if I could foster them and see if Marco get's along, I could always switch them up if they don't get along.

I fostered the cutest little dog about 5 years ago. I don't think I would do it again because I really bonded with her and had to let her go to a forever home in the end. My apt. bldg. didn't allow dogs so I basically snuck her in and kept her well hidden. So...I couldn't keep her. I have 2 cats right now and I adore them and even though they do allow dogs here I wouldn't have one with 2 cats...but maybe someday!

Yes, Marco is a rabbit. He usually minds his own business. He get's a long with my parents dogs, I just don't trust my parents dogs completely to leave them alone. I was thinking of getting a puppy, and bring him up with all the animals, and I also will be petsitting out of my place, so animals will come and go.

Yes, I have fostered even birds like pigeon, fowls, ducks and many more. Animals like rabbits, goats, sheep, cows among others. The pigeon is such a loving bird while rabbits are also wonderful.

What you're doing is very admirable. give it a try and take it slow, different animals have different temperaments and I'm sure you will find one that can get along with your Marco

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is really a noble thought u have in your mind and to be very honest, even i would love to foster one such animal some day in the future. Animals do need our love and affection and if we are able to do something for them then it is a great thing. I know some animals find it difficult to adjust with the new conditions but if they are given an apt environment then they would easy gel with the new members of a family.
What say?
