I definitely agree with that... A single step is really important. Everything we want to needs the initial of doing to have it. As of you, don't give up your study for it is very important. After you graduated you will be more have time in your life to do your passion. Education is really important, it is the thing that no one can take it away from you.

"Education is the one thing that no one can take fron you."
Wow, I had never thought of it like this before that once you achieve it that you own that accompolishment. I think sometimes the issue with education is that the road feels so long and never ending at times that sometimes we forget the goal that we are striving for in our lives. Try to envision that goal as you take one step towards it at a time, and how you will feel when you achieve the goal.
Also, something that one of my instructor's shared is that even if you are going for your 4 year degree once you have enough credits for your associates apply for graduation. The milestone of getting your associate's degree can help to motivate you to stay on course to finish your 4 year degree of study. I know it can seem really long, but it will be worth it in the end.
Even once I finished my bachelor's degree, I took two months off before starting my master's degree. So, if you need a little break that is okay. Just ensure before you take a break that you already have the plan for returning along with a time frame for returning to school. Set the goal that at a particular point in time you will return in school to finish your degree. That way you will be more likely to return in a short period of time. Also, I think if you do take a break it should be a short period of time like 2 - 3 months. I think that if you wait to long it will just be harder to go back to school.

Yes, education is very empowering. Think about education as an investment in your future. IIf you have take a 5 month break maybe it is time to get back to studying? Maybe, you will find your inspiration from a class that you decide to take.

It's Christmas and New Year, so you have a good excuse to take a break from study, make a conscious effort to get back into studying when the new year is in. Enjoy, relax and take a well earnt break, those single steps can be made in 2013.

If you want to be prepared for the New Year this is the time to start planning! That way come the New Year you will be prepared to begin. Then again, I wanted to be all prepared for the New Year and I have only gotten a little bit of my prep work for the New Year accompolished. Well at least, I got some things done. I still have today to get a little bit more done before the New Year rolls in. Happy New Year!

ungu, don't give up on your studies. I don't know how many times I have started college only to quit for some reason or another. Well, this time I am going to finish!
As far as getting your passion back...see if you can gain support from family and/or friends. Even fellow students can help you out with their support. I know that my friends and family are my cheerleaders.

I agree that you should stick with your studies ungu. It took me a long time to get my bachelor's degree as lots of time I had to only take a few classes at a time. When I finally achieved my bachelor's degree I did take a few months off just because I needed a break before starting my Master's degree.
Maybe you could considering taking a lighter load of classes next semester especially if you feel like you are starting to get burned out. If you have some general studies classes that you still need to knock out like humanities, social studies, or science classes where you have a choice of which class to take try finding a class that you really enjoy. Another thing to consider is that are you feeling this way about your studies because you do not feel passionate about your major?
Try to evaluate over the break what it that will make you happy. Sometimes we pick a major only to realize part way through our studies that it was not the right choice. I changed my major 3 or 4 times while working on my bachelor's degree. Yes, it did mean that it took longer to finish, but still you need to be satisfied with the path that you have chosen to walk in life.

That is a good quote that can inspire us that even when we fail at one thing we still have the potential to succeed in life!

Sorry passion comes from inside yourself. You can enjoy another's passions but the emotion it comes from is inside. Studies can seem to go on and on but why are we here except to learn. If you can find a way to take a small break you can then return fresh and ready to go on. I know if I ever stop learning I will just fade away.

Sometimes to passion about studying depends upon the course. There are some classes that you are going to love, and feel passionate about, while others are going to be classes that you just have to grin and bare it to get through them. I know for me I totally loved an anthropology class that I took. Their were some classes like statistics that it was just a mandatory class that I knew I had to take so I just committed myself to doing it. Especially, I found when I was taking classes that only lasted 6 or 8 weeks even the ones that I did not love or feel passionate about I could get through because I would count down the weeks to the end of the course. I do recall when I took 16 week classes that it just felt like the class went on for to long.
Also, something that I found is that some professors or teachers of college classes just seem to have a way of making the class interesting and even fun. If you really do enjoy the way a particular instructor teaches try to see if that instructor is teaching any of the classes that you need to take for the upcoming semester.
You could also try exploring some different classes too! Maybe, you will end up realizing that the path that you chose for you degree did not quite fit you the way that you thought it would initially. You may realize that you need to change paths to one that you feel more passionate about pursuing. Learning is a life long path, so pick one that you will enjoy strolling down.

Hang in there! Just remember that you will have different classes in the coming semester. Try to look at it as something new. Many times when we think of something new we get this positive feeling of infinite opportunity.

Yes, we do take things for granted from time to time. A lot of times things in life will occur in our life that will make us remember to be thankful for the things that we have in our lives.

It only seems long when we do not enjoy the site seeing along the way or when we get to caught up focusing on the final destination.

Actually a journey begins with planning and plotting out the course that you will take upon your journey. Once, you have plotted out the course that you will take envision your journey. Think through your plans. do you see yourself being able to successfully journey down the route that you chose to the goal that you have set for yourself? If the answer is yes, you are finally ready to take that first step and begin your journey.
Just remember Rome was not built in a day. There will be setbacks that you had not anticipated, but if you have that goal envisioned in your mind you will be determined to find a way to make it to the end of the road even if it means that you have to take a short detour.
Education especially if you are working on a bachelor's degree it is a marathon not a race. It will not matter how long it takes you to reach the finish line just as long as you eventually cross it. Just like marathon runner you have to learn to pace yourself. Even if the pace is one class at a time the important part is that you go at the pace that will be comfortable for you. If you are feeling tired instead of stopping to take a rest, slow down a little like the tortoise instead of taking a full-time course load see if you can take a part-time class load for a semester. This might give you just the rest that you need so that the following semester you can sprint ahead farther on your journey by taking more classes.
Electives can also help to give you a breathe of fresh air. If you can try to take a few elective classes, these elective might be just what you need to find your passion. What type of college activities can you participate in that might help you to find your passion?

I love going swimming, but I have come to the conclusion that the pool and spa here at the complex is not kept in sanitary conditions. The last time I went swimming at the pool about 2 years ago, I got a really bad viral infection with me running a fever of 102. The last time I used the jacuzzi I got pneumonia. I decided that it is not worth it to go down to the pool area. I mean my health is more important.
