2012, The Most Memorable Year

Thank you for this discussion, I have thought of making a new one, but since i found this, i thought i could just share my year with you in this discussion. =) The year 2012 is both tough and kind... This was the year that I will remember, it is engraved in my heart, for the many days that i was left to cry, for the nights i thought would never end - because this was the year where all my hurts, pains, and all other negative things came to me, all at the same time i thought i could never survive a day longer. But I did. Year 2012 will be in my heart forever because it is the year i discovered that friendship and time does heal your wounds, It is in this year that i have found new sets of friends who has helped me through. It is also in this year that i have found a new love, and I will forever remember how he - was just right there loving me, as I steady my gaze over someone who has closed his doors on me. This was the year that i have truly remembered a quote that while you were too busy looking at the closed door, you weren't able to see that there was a window waiting to be appreciated by you. This year was tough, because this year sure tried its best to test my faith, my strength, my hope, my values... This year is kind because it gave assurance, it strengthened my relationship with God, it has healed my wounds of hurts, it has shown me who loves me more than i could ever love (my mom), this year proved me that i am never alone. This year, more than ever is the year that my broken road was blessed... and i am forever grateful, that i have been blessed with the power to bless others as well, through prayers.

glad to hear that.. Its been 360% the opposite for me here. Health issues, my son moved to usa to go to school. Business was really slow here this year. But Im sure 2013 will be so much better for me here..Merry xmas to you there, and happy new years...

I certainly wouldn't call 2012 a memorable year for me, but on the same note I cannot call it a bad year, even when bad things have happened, they happen for a purpose, it's whether we can learn from the mistakes we make and the bad decisions taken. I lost a very good friend in 2012, a friend of 9 years, but it had to be done, the friendship was all one sided, and I decided enough was enough. I also realized that I was spending too much time in promoting affiliate links and not gaining from it, so I used the time on Mylot and other worthwhile activities instead. Continuing therapy in 2012 has helped to make me stronger. I am looking forward to 2013, mainly because of the '13' which for me is lucky. I don't make new years resolutions as I believe if you want to make a change you do it today, not wait till January 1st.

I'm glad that you have had a good year during 2012.Its also good to hear that you have found the support of the community useful in your life in general.For me 2012 has been a memorable year for me in a good way.This year I lived away for the first time at university and made lots of great friends.I have changed a lot for the better in the last year I have become a lot more confident and outgoing.Im excited about next year and all the great memories I will make with my great friends.

We'll become successful in our online career if there is a support from family and friends. As for me, my family knew that I work online, but they don't support me at all. It is just that I can't open up with them about the earnings because all they say is that its not enough to help them in financial crisis. So I work with my own and motivated myself on my own.

Thanks to you too Aries for all the advices and respond that we exchanged through discussion. :) MyLot and ALL the people here became a part of my life too and I consider myLot my friend. What I can say is 2012 had been balanced for me even though there is always a struggle and problems. Later part of 2012, I did enroll in a diploma for english proficiency. I don't say that I am an expert in english now but that course is a big step for me. I had been a housewife for more that 3years and had not worked. Taking up the short course is a big step. I felt nervous that time. I feel that I can't make it. But luckily, I did pass with flying colors! I was even highly recommended for call center jobs to prime accounts! I did learn too in that course to be confident in yourself. I really, really had many things learned there and I did enjoy it so much! I wish a brighter New Year to come. I have lots of wishes for myself and for my family. For one, my eldest son will enter college/university already. The best thing that happened in my life this year was my Grandson born last Feb! He's my sons first child. Other than that it was a very depressing year for me. I lost the man I was going to marry to heart attack, the 35 year old son of a very dear friend of mine, another 55 year old son of a friend and my ex husband and father of my children to cancer at 65 years old. I'm praying next year is a lot better but I'm afraid that I'm going to be having some health problems of my own.

You are right! You survived 2012 and so did I! I hope 2013 will be a better year for me! This year has been alot of diffenert things. I continue on a path of self discovery and of life around me. Some of it good and some bad. I found out I have acid reflux disease. That trying to change some of my diet and losing weight is more frustrating then I thought it would be! That I hate growing older more then I had! That things are changing in my family and it is time for the young generation to pick up the slack!Like to host Thanksgiving and Christmas,for example! I feared for my full time job which is safe for the time being. I am once again working with a guy that is my worst night mare that came true! My part-time job went to casual part-time. My father still hangs on and is living in a assistent living home. I become a great aunt once again to another nephew! I have gottan hooked on Pinterest! I continue my journey on Mylot which has its ups and downs. Especially this year with their server problems and other things! I will be here no matter what and will see what 2013 has waiting for me!

Last May 2012, I finally graduated from medical school, and I passed the board examinations last August 2012 and got my license to practice what I studied for for 7 looooong years. Then, last October I first received my salary :D Most memorable part of 2012 though was waiting for December 21, 2012! hahaha, the doomsday scenario from the movie, 2012, was reaaally scary IMO.

Hi Aries. Congratulations for all the success. It has been a quite eventful year for me as well. I have made i into one of the prestigious B schools of my country. And also there were lots of things that I learnt about myself and about world. And now at the end of this year I have decided to work on my offline earnings. Yah, you made it! You survive 2012. This year was awesome for me too. We had our new home finally. I gave birth to our second baby and many more. I hope 2013 will also be good to me. Have a wonderful day there. :)
