Yeah, this is what I am doing now. I jump from GC to MF whenever the connection is bad and vice versa. I do not know why this is happening now. It's been three days since bad internet connection has disabled me from making the most of my time here. While doing some discussions all of a sudden it freezes and the page saying that the page is not available comes out. I would use another browser and get back into action again. Then it happens again after a while, so I would go back to the other browser and so on and so forth. It is crazy.

That's what I do when signal goes bad but yesterday up to now, the loading is really slow. Is i perhaps because of the holidays? Are the "airwaves" busy with traffic? lol

In our place, I think it's not buried but up there like every other wires. So this could be the reason for all these interruptions.

not really airwaves are there when internet goes over cable underground? ;D It all depends on your internet speed and the speed of the server of that particular website. Like mylot for example. I would imagine there's alot going on here over the holidays and everyone over the world writing like mad and having fun doing so will slow the mylot server down to a crawl. Unless they have huge computers in their cellars of course lol. Then it also has to do with the speed of your internet cables at home buried under your street or sidewalk.

I think Mozilla Firefox is the most stable and reputed browser. I had used all browsers and by my experience I came to conclusion that Firefox stands at the top.

I think they're just the same because I would switch to one of those but still the same problem would occur.

Perhaps you should have your computer checked. That is quite inconvenient to have to jump from one browser to another.

If it's slow internet connection, it should not freeze the browser window, check the processes that are running on your computer, make sure that there is not any virus on your computer.

It's okay now. After four days of suffering from poor internet connection, now it's back to normal. Yipee!

I use both equally and don't have a problem. I just wish that I could customize Chrome as I have with Firefox.

I have never been able to get on with Chrome, I just don't like it, a lot of sites I use don't work properly on Chrome, I find it a much slower browser than Firefox. I hope by now your internet is working ok! I hate it when the internet plays up, it's so frustrating and yes your efforts switching browsers would drive me crazy too!

I mostly use chrome, nothing else. Chrome is the best, and hav a great connection. If you have problems, then it might be your internet service. But chrome is also updated with adobe player, and java. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
