I finished the 5 twin size quilts that I was making for my grand children for christmas. Started them in August! They all turned out so well, they are all about twin size, maybe a bit longer or wider. I start in the middle and work my way out until I am happy with how it looks! My goal this year is to learn how to do the math to make them exactly twin size and still be able to do my own creations!
I put what I am allowed here, but go to my photos and see all of them...5 just posted today! This is the one of the horses and her favorite color is purple so I incorporated that into the quilt. I have a story that goes along with why I designed it the way I did...the back is just solid fabric with horses (real looking ones) running. I can only post one here, but check out my photos to see them all.
I am only able to give to one kid as the father and mother of the other three are sulking for the past 6 months and don't want to have christmas with me, but..Lord will have his way.

I was going to do the same, but won a drawing and it was 8 Fat quarters of christmas theme fabric so I just need to add some red and green! But yeah, Joann's has some great christmas fabric (when I was there last week...they had their Valentines Day prints out!!!) but it will be on sale tomorrow. Good luck...pick some fun patterns!
