and/or wanted to ask someone to do something for you or have something done? And before you can verbalize on this it gets done. Case in point is that I was going to ask my granddaughter to do something while she is staying here. She has been here for about four days now. ANd today she started doing it and I hadn't done or said anything. Has this every happened to you?

Do you see the steam coming out of my ears? I really can't recall anyone ever having done anything for me without me having to whine about it. You are blessed to have such a thoughtful granddaughter!

I understand how frustrating it is when someone wants to help us, but it often results in frustration and (for me at least) confusion. They mean well; it's just hard sometimes for us to know that.

It is nice when this happens, especially since it was something you were going to talk to her about helping get done. Maybe she just saw the need of something needing to be done, and did it, or just felt since she was staying there she minus well help out around there.

Sometimes people pick up on social cues. Other times, people are being thoughtful. Either way, your grandaughter might be trying to help. That is a good thing, and shows that she appreciates everything you have done for her.

Yes, it has happened to me. From my experience, you learn to anticipate things. People do good things for people either for something for return or just doing it out of the goodness of their heart. I also have those days where I will feel good and do something for someone even when they have not asked yet.

I think random acts of kindness is a great thing. We need more of this not less. It just seems like there is less.

Sometimes it is the power of our mind telling them to do it so, or it is just needed to be done and they seems to be thinking the same like you. It is cool, isn't it? Imagine things you were just planning already done without a word coming from you...hahaha nice, if this will happen in my work. :)

Ofcourse it is the power of the mind but to come across something totally out of the blue like she did was really interesting. Nothing about the holidays or what needed to be done either. Odd.

This was something totally disconnected from the holidays and she hasn't been around for several weeks. I thought it was weird. I think that when people live together and see eachother each day they are apt to know what the other might be thinking.

I think sometimes people just know. It's funny how it works that way. However, most of the time even if I ask someone else to do something....they don't! LOL Marsha

could be a bit of telepathy or she just saw that something needed doing and knowing what you like then she just did it. My daughter does things like this for me. I do hope that you had a wonderful Christmas.

Some similar kind of phenomenon happened to me many times. Sometimes I do something or said something to someone, and instantly I realize that I have already dreamed about all this. I feel like I have done it for second time, because I have already done that in my dream. It is an amazing feeling which I use to get in some previous years. I think your grand daughter understand you well, so she understood what you want and done already what you wanted her to do.

I think it's a sort of telepathy. You are very lucky for having such a grand daughter. She exactly knows what do you expect. She is very sensible and its a God gift. Best luck and a happy new year to you all.

There would be an incidence like that. They know your command but they will just do it after awhile. It's just like my brothers and sisters. Pretty funny because they still reminiscing my commands to them. HAHA! :)
