Need some advice for my currunt study.

In this discussion I willing to know your opinion about I.T related studies because it will help me to decide what path I have to choose in I.T field. In last few months I'm following the I.T related degree qualification called BCS( British Computer Society) and heard it's equal to Bsc PGD degree qualification. I want to know about this institution and its use in I.T field and also about to know job opportunities for BCS qualified people? Hope you could help me in my studies by provide information.

let me know and let you think for yourself why you think that you are interesting with IT field?
Do you interested as programmer person? system engineering software? wanna be network person? or support person?
in ther future, there are lots of kind field job for IT person, including as marketer for IT related, like sales for software, hardware, or other.
I do a lot now, besides as Mainframe person in one of the biggest national banking in my country, i make code too for others.
About salary it's depends on the company and your skilled.
keep fighting with what you do now.

many thanks for sharing your opinions with me. my main focus is to be a web developer. so I decide to join with software development company for get industrial experience that could help me with my main focus. so I have to be qualified for to keep a step up. Now i m troubling with this simple question, 'Am I follow the right qualification for right profession?!!!!!!!'

First the ability of IT technology is quite important.Take myself for example,I am a college student now.I am interested in IT,though my major subject is physics.So I learn the photoshopCS5 by myself in my spare time.Nowadays,one who can't use the computer is a illiterate.But on the other hand,there are so many people studying in the IT field.It's also a job which exhausts your energy.If you like it sincerely,you should try you best to learn it well.Only you are excellent in IT field do you earn high wage possibly.As for what you choose,you'd better analyze what the possible trendence in the future.(You can refer to the popular job currently)

hi,buddy ,my major is software development. when i am still in shool ,i dream about that i will be software engineer .but now ,five years pasted ,i almost give it up . because there is a lot of people about IT field. and the job is very bored and long timer .you must stay up late at night. and the salary is very low.
my job is saler manager ,it is very easy. and comunication with customer, improve myself very quickly.
that's all ,you will get what you would like oneday!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. We;; i can understand your situation and i know u must be confused regarding what to choose and what to skip. I think u should not pay attention to what every one say and should consult the elders who have pursued their career in this stream so that they can better guide u in this line. I think nowadays there is job opportunities in every sector so u better concentrate on a particular stream and i am sure u will have plenty of opportunities.
