My primary school teacher

While returning from the friends home I saw my primary school teacher, he is 91 now, but still healthy; he was not wearing glasses and was walking straight without any kind of cane.
I touched his feet; he could recognize me; even though several years have passed.
We regard our teacher as Guru, besides parents; who are our first Gurus; a teacher is also Guru.
We have a verse in Sanskrit, it says Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is Almighty, and so we bow down in front of him.

When you see your teachers who taught in schools/college how you react.

In many cases I have taught 2 generations, I mean the parents and the kids.
The parents touch my feet as mark of respect; but in many cases the kids don’t; might be this is the generation gap.
Please respond and share your views on this.
Thanks in advance.

To be honest, when I was a younger girl,I was very naughty and intractable, which seemed a big headache to my ptimary school teacher.I still one year ago I came across her,I recognized her immediately though she turned older than before, however she could not recognize me that time.Maybe I changed a lot from a little girl to a girl who graduated from university and worked for one year already. She was gratified for my changes and held my hands tightly.lol

Hi professor, Merry Christmas to you too.
What lovely meeting you had! Thanks God your teacher is so healthy!
I remember my primary teachers with great affection. I was very attached to some of them. I admired them so much. I moved abroad so I can`t see them anymore.
Having a good teacher is very important for a kid, because they become a base for their life. I`ve tried that my children have good teachers that they can remember with love for the rest of their lives.
Blessings Professr... dainy

Did you not ask professor your primary school teacher, what enables him to reach 91, yet healthy and still walking straight without any cane.
AT least, we can imitate some of what he practices in life so we could also be healthy until that age.

Dina you made me smile
It is the pure food he ate, the pure air he breathe, right?

I guess it is. But nowadays professor it's hard to breathe in pure air and eat pure foods. With the pesticides being sprayed on fruits and veggies as they grow, they can't be pure anymore.
I think he is a vegetarian, and lives in retirement on a mountain or hill.

I admire respecting teachers. They are so very important to our lives and our childrens lives.
Teachers deserve the same respect as doctors..after all they are a huge influence. In the US teachers are less and less respected and as a result we are losing some very excellent ones. It's really sad...

Teachers usually remember their students by face, and the brilliant and some naughty ones by name
