Passion Plays An Important Part In All We Do.

I have learned over the years that being passionate in doing the things we do, we will feel best. After working for thirty years for both the government and private sectors, I realized that my whole life - finance, health, family, personal, are all not that great. Ever since, I started my own businesses and found that I am so passionate about what I do now, things are different. I feel energetic, inspired, motivated. Do you have passion in your job or business today? Did passion play a role in your life?

Passion really plays a very important role in my life.I enjoy teaching in school, every time I stand in front of whe whole class,I feel so energetic and willing to teach all what I know to the students. If the students understand what I have already taught,I feel so proud .

Good for you. Passion do not necessarily relate to income. It relates more to our wholesome health.

We need passion to keep that fire burning in us. If we don't have passion for something , then we will never succeed in something. It is even hard to start if we don't have that passion. Passion inside makes things easier to be done and success would not be too far then.

You are right creationhub. When we are doing something we are passionate about, we get satisfaction in the process. That will certainly affect our health positively.

Yeah, I have come to realizing that fact too. However, I am not quite sure yet to where my true passion lies. That is the hard part, knowing what you are passionate of. I feel that I am at a crossroads at the moment and I am taking my time to weigh in my options and alternatives. Hopefully, I can determine my passion soon enough and be able to reach for it the soonest time possible. Maybe you can help me out in trying to figure out the things that I might be interested in being passionate about? Good for you that you have come to establish a business already. I do feel that having such helps in freeing more time for oneself and can lead to discovery of our passions in life.

Just to let you know, I did not realize my passion in my current business till I started it. Passion also takes a growing process. So much so, today, when I meet friends or anyone in general, I love to talk about indoor air quality. You can say, I live, eat, dream about it, all the time. I trust you will also develop the passion once you are into a business.

Yeah, those who knew their passion since their childhood are often the ones who moved to reach for it early. As for me, I am still learning and trying out different things to know where my niche is. Hopefully, this year will be the year that I move over to what fulfills me best and discover my passion.

Some people are lucky enough to know their passion from their childhood. Some people try lots of different things before eventually find and develop their ultimate passion. Very few people never find their passion at all.

Hello creationhub. I agree with you that passion is very important in whatever we do, with which we can fulfill our mission or task more efficiently and productively. I got to know this from my working attitude. If I feel motivated, I can do my work fast and well, but without, it is poorly done. Let's do things with great passion in the new year. Thanks for the discussion. Have a good day.

You are right mariaperalta. You may get the job done, but you don't have any satisfaction. You will get bored and sick eventually.

That's true. Doing something without passion is like eating food that has no flavor. My passion is in marketing and networking, that's what I do. To me getting to know new friends comes first. If they end up becoming my customers, that would be a bonus.

Passion about something you are working too keeps you going. It means you love and enjoy it at the same time. I do too, when I started mylot, I loved it and had passion to it too. That's why I'm still here. Good day :)

same like you, i realize that we should have motivation, purpose or passion for doing something why we become civil servant maybe? (just example) maybe we want to contribute to our country and our region area.. or we are only getting one job or anyone else the motivation, purpose and passion for everyone when they become civil servant are different..and of course it drives them to be what they need, what they want and what they expect of them..

According to one of my friends passion is a choice that you make, so you can practically be passionate about anything. That works for him :)

i've got the type finally, you got me. I think the same as you. I saw many senior person of me in some office, starting from retired, early retired, resign, moving to other company. What all of this about? even the person that i knew that he/she did very well on their job because we have exellent working as partner even we'r on different company. There is person starting business, move to other company and got better salary and more higher level. The crazy that i though was for retired person only got 'thanks' from the boss. even no celebrate to that person for all this time has servicing the company with his/her skilled.

A lot of such feelings are mutual. I worked for fifteen years with complete dedication and loyalty for a company. At the end of the day, I was played out as I am not one for office politics. In physical I lost a great job that I still have passion for, loss of a good salary and retirement benefits. In reality, I gain the best God would give - freedom of time, freedom of choice and ability to run and see my own rewards for working hard at my current businesses.

I could totally agree to this.Passion drives us in everything-be it job or be it anything personal.Passion gives us that feeling and motivation to do more. There could be other things which could motivate one, be it external or internal. But all those are short lived,in comparison with passion which is a big and long term factor. But yes, even passion has to be nourished well and given attempts to fly around. It help us to improve and upgrade our lives for bigger and better things in life. For me, i always keep my passion full of energy.I would keep new targets and milestones and try to reach them.It also helps in personal and professional life.It gives us that self-esteem and confidence in facing bigger challenges and things.I also keep the things in check and try to improve things and in many ways, it helps me to keep focused on the goals. The only tough part is recovering from failure while being driven by passion. Its not easy when you deal with heart and emotions.Good to know you have worked for more than 30 years. We can learn many things from you. Thanks!

We feel very down when we fail, that's natural. We can, however, tell ourselves that there is no failing, there is only learning new things. When we have come to believing it, everything we do becomes fun and full of passion. It takes time and it can be done.
