Michael Jackson said from his song Man In the Mirror,
"If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change."
Some people in the world do not realize the importance of giving love and care for each individual. Individuals who are sick, the poor, the dying, the beggar, or even the healthy ones. I have a case for this one. I've seen poor people who stay near our house. Maybe 50 meters away from them. One time, those poor family ask for a food to our neighbor. Unfortunately, that neigbor is being selfish although I know for sure they have left overs in their refrigerator after celebrating Christmas. They didn't even give any for the poor, they scream those poor, and I'm really hurt for them. So, what did I do is I came to them and give our left overs for them to be able to eat. I can't understand those people why they are doing that kind of practice. They have given blessings but they are not able it to share with others.

Are you giving the poor money or something to eat? If the poor was really asking you for a food, I believe the poor is a really poor. But If the poor is asking for money from you, let's imagine how rich the poor is if all people have a favor like you did. I did giving some cents of money to those of them are disabled beggars. I will not spent my money for those beggars whose are still able to work.

Hi,
you are right. While looking at the image we should feel proud. We should always depend upon good deeds. We should help others who are in need. Whether they are poor or rich. we can give financial, physical or mental support with whatever we have. Our mind also works as mirror. We should not allow any dust to gather on this mirror. the mirror should be always clear and pure.

We have an old saying in my country - "The ones who are fed enough do not believe the hungry ones". I think it can really well describe the situation of people who are blessed to have everything but not sharing a single slice of bread or a shirt with people in need. Man in the Mirror, unfortunately, soon will remain only a cry for help and will remain hanging in the air with no response. This is who we are - selfish people with full stomachs.
