First, let me start by saying I am not only juicing. I am, however, incorporating juice into my lifestyle. Back in July I started to find my health. I have lost 18 lbs sine July and have been feeling better and better with every day. I kick started myself by doing the master cleanse. I did seven days and really found a great overall feeling after the experience. Have you ever done the master cleanse? It was a great experience for me :) I got a juicer for Christmas and made my first juice tonight. I should have scaled back a bit on the lemon and maybe added more ginger. Or maybe even replaced the lemon with an apple. But, here is the ingredients I used: 6 Kale Leaves, 1 Thumb Size Piece of Ginger, 1 Cucumber, 3 Celery Stalk, 12 Small carrots and 1 Lemon. It honestly tastes good but I will try a new concoction tomorrow evening. Do you have any recipes you would like to share? Or combinations you could come up with on your own?

Oh that is fantastic, good for you and that concoction sounds delicious. Personally I was getting heavily into smoothies, using almond milk or organic yogurt and a variety of fruits, vegetables and roots...That is until I got sick in November, (Probably because I stopped drinking my vinegar honey tea,) and now smoothies don't sound so good. I have been thinking of juicing, and if you want different recipes and you have a FB, there is a FB page dedicated just to different concoctions of juices. Here is their page if you are interested: https://www.facebook.com/VegetableJuicing

Oh thank you for the link!I will be checking that one out for sure. I have not done much with smoothies but may have to try it soon. I love almond milk and just can't stomach cows milk. Vinegar honey tea huh? May need to try that... Vinegar has so many great uses but I have never thought of it in tea.

I also have a FB page on smoothies too if you like. As for the vinegar honey tea, this is made with just a tablespoon each of vinegar and honey I a cup of hot water, and sometimes I sprinkle a little cinnamon on top. I drink this half an hour before breakfast and half an hour before bedtime and not only do I believe it keeps viruses away, (or at least I don't get hit hard) but it does help burn fat as well.. :)

I am going to try that concoction before bed tonight with my normal tea. We have all been hit hard with a cold and perhaps my children will like it with the cinnamon on top :) They love hot tea and it might be a way to kick this nasty cold! I would love the link for the smoothie recipes on FB if you want to share! If the tea burns fat as well then that sounds like a win win! Thanks so much!

I lost weight too a couple of years ago and had to check my Thyroid suspecting that to be the culprit. But it was not. Then it came to my mind that in that year I was into oranges one every day atleast for 2 months when they were in season. I am definite that oranges did that to me. This year, again I have started on oranges and hope to lose weight again!
