When i woke up today, my husband told me that it was raining continuously most of the night.
I surprised because i didn't notice. I slept so fitfully, unmindful of the sounds of the pouring rain.
He told me, he was even watching TV in a loud volume , yet i was so asleep!
How about you guys? Do you sleep fitfully, not noticing if there are sounds or whatever around you?

During the normal day I am a light sleeper. I can hear even the slightest noise outside and that could be trouble putting me into sleep. Now I am glad that you sleep well sleeping deep is precious. You can buy the most expensive bed but not sleep

Actually Eric, the sound of the pouring rain lulls us to sleep, in addition to its cooling the atmosphere, which makes us sleep more fitfully!

Just like you Jazel, when our daughter was still just a kid, i easily wake up.
But now that we don't have a small kid to assist at night, i really sleep fitfully every night.
It's my husband who always and will be forever i guess, very light sleeper.

Yes,I know the feeling my dear.
I can still remember the storm Ondoy that strikes our country.
I was sleeping too soundly because the weather is cold and nice.
And I woke up late- just in time to see the news how much waters the storm brings to metro cities and other places in our country.

You know Jaiho, it seems that the sound of the falling rain in our rooftop, lulls us more to a fitfull sleep. And yes, the coldness is also a contributor too.
It must be shocking to wake up and find out that Ondoy has flooded many places already.
Was you place flooded too during Ondoy's onslaught?

I think i was accostumed to sleeping with my husband watching TV, thus there is a sound around.
But as to the light from the TV, i have to prevent myself from that, lest i can't sleep.

Generally i do sleep fitfully like you. But some times when i am disturbed i can't. Sound sleep is the indication of no worries or full satisfaction. I have noticed so many times when the person is working hard with full heart in completing his jobs, tasks his sleep is fitful. So nothing to worry. Enjoy this sleep always.

Dear friend,
At times when I feel much tried and gets a comfortable atmosphere, that had given me a good sleep, at times I swtich off the TV at the morning when I wake up. To get a good sleep while watching TV occures rarely, but to get a good fitfully sleep would be really a satisfying one.

Before when i was still slimmer, i am a shallow sleeper. I can easily waken up with a bit of sound i hear in the middle of the night.
But now that i have added poundage, i already snore and sleep fitfully even if my husband keeps changing the channels and sound of the TV!
Well, shamrack , the more that i sleep so fitfully when i am tired too!

I'm a light sleeper so if I hear anything around me I will wake up and then can't go back to sleep. I can't sleep in pitch dark so I leave my TV on but just mute the volume and set the timer to shut off after 2 hours. I'm glad you got some good sleep and didn't hear a thing, dont know how some people can do that. My boyfriend is the same way, it's hard to wake him up for anything.

You are same with my husband , a light sleeper.
My husband complains though that i sleep fitfully, because he said that the robber have already robbed us in our bedroom, but still i am fitfully sleeping.

I don't know what you will think of this but I like to sleep and not feel like waking when it is raining or snowing heavily. Clean sheets, warm bed and a roof over my entire family.
It is the time where I enjoy the luxury of a carefree rest with no worries of anything. I would just shut myself into this little world of myself, a moment of security which we as a family has worked so hard for. The bonus will be to have my children to cuddle together on certain occasions.

Yes during that time it is really so good to sleep! The kids around you sleeping also makes you feel so good too.
However, it is a bit of a worry if it is snowing heavily outside, lest the house will be buried in snow, when you wake up already.

I unfortunately do not sleep that good. Hopefully I will be able to sleep sometime like that in the future. I have a hard time going to sleep even when I'm really tired. Glad to hear you slept well.

Yeah when we are able to get the sleep we need we do feel better. I'm still hoping to work on my schedule so that will get better. Speaking of which I'm planned to go to sleep after I write this comment. It has been a long day and I have to get an early start tomorrow. So it's important for us to know when to stop and just go to bed.

And the outside i think got big rain because the street very wet and in some region there are trees down.
That's happened to me when i'm so tired...

Yes, i am glad that i can sleep fitfully. Others indeed have problems getting to sleep.
Indeed my friend when one is so tired from working all day, he/she can sleep so fitfully even amidst the noise in her /his surroundings.

Actually, the rain makes me sleep so fitfully. The sound of the rain falling adds to my sleeping fitfully.
Though, i don't want it to rain continuously because it can flood some areas here in our province, just like what happened yesterday.

i admire that you have a deep sleep. Because, sometimes it is difficult for me to sleep in a minute after going to bed. Meanwhile, somethings appear in my brain, which take up the sleep. when its happen,i want to hear the sounds which can help me to sleep.
