Today, as i stepped out of our gate, i was in tiptoe because there were some parts of the rugged pathway leading to the main road, that are a bit flooded. But when the jeepney i was riding approached the city proper, i was shocked to see that it was flooded up to the knee of the man walking in the middle of the road. The jeepney just keep on going, and i said to myself, that if it also flooded to where i will alight to get another jeepney for the office, i will not alight anymore but go back home. Good thing, in the very center of the city it wasn't flooded anymore. But most of my officemates were absent because some weren't able to traverse the flood in their motorcycle , while the others have their houses flooded. It's a good thing after an hour the sun is already shining! At least, the flooded areas will now subside.

i wonder where you're from? my relatives are from aklan and they greatly suffered from the typhoon quinta. glad that they're safe. the weather today is really unpredictable. sometimes ti would rain heavily and then after a few hours, the sun would shine. i guess it really is because of the global warming.

I am from Bicol, Albay province my friend. Actually , until now the weather is like that. One minute it's sunny and in a while it will be showering. Typhoon Quinta didn't affect us that much. But it brought flood to other places here ,because they are near some river. Some river overflowed because of the continuous rain the night before. Yes, i think so too that it's because of the global warming.

It seems as if it is raining all over the world. In East Africa, floods hit one of our cities here and a number of people got locked in. Above knee flood were reported in most estates. A petrol station was flooded to the point of almost submerging the fuel pumps!

Indeed. The climate change has really affected every place in the world. And it's sad that the rainy season has also affected almost every place.

Yes, jazel the sun is out already. But i can see some dark sky by the sea. I am happy because at least the night out with batchmates will not be postponed. I hope it will just rain intermittently there jazel if ever, so flood can be avoided.

I have this experienced last "habagat". That was the first time our area reached by water. The water is not too high in our place- but nearby places I saw flood as high as waist level. I really felt nervous by that time.. Keep safe my dear

Yes, the flood makes us nervous indeed, jaiho. What if we get carried by the current? What if we stepped on a manhole, as we trod on the flood. What is it reaches all our appliances? That's why , i decided that if ever i get to see that the place where i have to get another jeepney is flooded, i won't alight anymore, but just would ride the jeep back to our house since it's a Loop jeep. But i was so happy when i saw that it's not flooded a bit, just wet by the rain.

I saw in the news many places have experienced flooded lately. Some even having snow storm, typhoon and etc. Many are left without houses and have to get shelter elsewhere. I hope the weather will improve so that these people can have a good new year 2013 to start. In Malaysia, once there is rain storm, the roads will be flooded and traffic jam will start.

Luckily , in our place of residence it doesn't flood. It gets a bit floody on the rough road leading to the main road, but not so much. But in some places in the city it also gets easily flooded. Last night, it was continuously raining, that's why it's flooded again on those places. I pity the people who have to bear the flood and clean their houses after.

The climate change has taken its toll to various places in the world, my friend. The places that weren't affected at all formerly, were now also being flooded. But in our city, it always gets flooded whenever it rains continuously. I am glad, the sun was already shining by midday.
