Have you seen "the hobbit"?

I was disappointed, too. I read the books and it is not supposed to be a comedy.

I've seen it. For me, there's nothing wrong with the character of Bilbo. It's the same Bilbo that I've seen in LOTR movies. And same Gollum, same Gandalf, but I am not satisfied too with that movie. I think it's the whole plot, if they have added a little more twists and more adventures to it, it could have been better. Great effects like LOTR but emptier. But I would still like to see it for the second time and I hope the next sequel will be a lot better than this one.

It's good but it's far from the masterpiece LOTR trilogy. I was glad that I forgot half of the story (read it long time ago) so the movie was very enjoyable to me. Everyone was complaining how the movie is too long and should've been cut but it didn't really felt that long to me. The only thing that I didn't like was too much unrealistic CGI. Was glad to see some cast from the LOTR trilogy once again and I think the actor who played Bilbo was perfect for the role.

yeah..ive seen it..for me..i liked this more than the first LOTR.. its too funny u friend said?? im not sure..is it same as in the stroy book of the HObbit??//is it also too funny in the books..or they made it extra funnier in the film?

I thought this movie was an old one. I saw it on the downloads, but didn't try it. Was the cinematography comparable to the Lord of the Rings?
