Do you try to look for at the brighter side of things. Life is hard pretty much for the majority of people. The economic is rough and health continues to fail. Yet there are positive things we can focus on. To focus on the bad all the time will only make us depressed.

Yeah it is natural for us to feel disappointed when things don't work out the way we plan or hoped. Then we have to adjust our viewpoint and our activities to see if there is anything else we can do about it. Sometimes we can change our goal or destination other times we just may have to fix a few things here and there.

I think I'm a selective optimist, haha! I look on the brighter side whenever certain bad things happen to me. Sometimes though, there were certain moments that I let negativity get to me and surprisingly in the midst of being a pessimist and the pressure I fared even better. Of course, that is not always the case. I also made wrong decisions as influenced by my negative thinking.

Yeah it can be hard to have that balance that leads to the outcome we would like to see. But we can continue to work at it. This way being optimist will achieve what we would like it to. It will then benefit us and those who are apart of our life.

Everything is in the eye of the beholder. I find that I focus more on the positive. I look to the bright side for clarity and hope. When I do get on a negative path my husband is there for a wake up call. I can tell the difference in myself. As if thinking of positive makes positive things happen around me. I also have been getting better at seeing the positives out of the negatives. I try to see what good comes from every situation in my life.

I'm glad to hear that you focus on the positive. It is a good thing for us to do this. More people would be happier if they strive to do this. We of course will have problems and hard times but there is no need to focus on these things all the time. We just have to remember to adjust our viewpoint at times.
