Bonus at the end of the 2012 year

Economic is very somber in this year. So, the bonus at the end of year is cut or reduced. My company is, too. Many bonuses and benefits are cut. We only have about 1 month of salary.
Many companies even can't pay salary for their staffs. It's bad!
How about in your local? And your company?

Same scene here, I'll get bonus but that'll be only 25% of my monthly salary which I'd never expected, I'm very disappointed with it.

It's going on from last 5 years, they say Indian market is still better than the European and American markets, let's hope things will be better next year..

Our economy is bad but no country is 100% negative as there are a lot of other factors to look into such as the strength of your current company. My company I work for doesn't offer year end bonuses. What do you mean you have 1 month of salary? You only got paid regular salary or you get paid 1 month out of the year?

I work for a cheap company that doesn't reward its employees for jobs well done. I enjoy working at this company but the thing that gets to me the most the lack of solid compensation in terms of benefits and also bonuses.

I mean that I'll get 2 months salary on December 31st :) I don't know that why your company have not offered year end bonuses. We won't work for this company. In my country, all companies offered at least one month salary for year end bonuses.

We received a small Christmas bonus of $150 from my company. It was helpful around the holidays but not nearly a bonus in my opinion. I keep the books at the company and I know what they are bringing in each year which makes me feel almost slapped with such a low bonus, although I am appreciative to receive anything at all.

You're right. We should appreciative to receive anything at present. I even don't have any bonus on Christmas. We're waiting to hear about the bonus for New Year.

Why your mom can't wait for that? She's a housewife? This year, I'll keep my year end bonus for rainy days in the next year. I don't think that the economy will be better soon.

The economy in my area is also not as good as before. It is expected to be deteriorating. With that in mind, it is more important to have a secured job now rather than looking for better working terms and conditions. Our bonus payment will come next month. It will very likely be one month's pay but it could also be half-month. I hope when the economy is better, the pay and bonus will be better too.

We all wish that the bonus will be better, my friend. You're maybe right when you said that we should keep our current job. It's hard to look for a new one in this status of economy.

We had been given a bonus and we are thankful about it. I feel sad for others who were not able to receive. Anyway what is important is that we have our job.

That's right. I can't imagine what will occur if I lost my job. I'll meet many difficulties.
