He Wanted To Challenge the God!

While people had many plans like having marriages, arranging parties, conducting some important events including getting a new baby on 12/12/12 as this day was a special one, one Mr. Krishna Pal from Ghaziabad, India had some different plans for that day. Krishna, 40, from Ghaziabad who was running a nursery at a road side for his lively hood wanted to challenge the God and wanted to set his time of his death on this day. Krishna Pal was a husband and father of three children decided to commit suicide at 12 seconds past twelve minutes to twelve in the after noon on twelfth day of twelfth month of year two thousand and twelve. Thus he wanted to commit the suicide at 12hours, 12 minutes and 12 seconds on the 12th day of December 2012. He planned every thing well in advance and he prepared a suicide letter or suicide note comprising of twelve pages and made Photostat copies of this letter to distribute them to the people before actually committing the suicide. He climbed one of the “over head water tanks” in the locality, where from he wanted to jump to end his life at the decided time. He has taken some stones and pieces of bricks along with him so that he could use them at the people who would try to spoil his attempt of committing the suicide, which in fact he did when people tried to save him from this act. Krishna Pal reached the top of water tank well before 12 o’ clock in the afternoon on 12/12/12 and started to throw the Photostat copies of his suicide note to the people standing below the tank. On reading the content of the suicide note, the people present there informed about this to the local police who came to the spot to save Krishna. When police and other people tried to save him, he pelted stones on them and prepared a noose with the help of a rope and put it around his neck tying the other end to the tank. He was threatening the police and public that he would jump immediately then to hang himself if they try to save him. Having noticed that people were putting lot of pressure on him along with police to stop him from committing the suicide he jumped from the over head tank at 11.33 am and he was immediately taken to one of the hospitals situated locally with the help of ambulance which was already standing there to save him. Unfortunately he was declared dead at the hospital. Thus in the act of challenging the God to set the time with death at 12hrs, 12 min, 12secs on 12/12/12, Krishna Pal got failed!
