does gun ownership require psychological tests? / myLot

I mean, who qualify to buy and own guns? I hope not only those who CAN AFFORD to buy them because that would make the present situation even worst. I think those who want to own guns should be screened and given psychological testing to see if they qualify or can be responsible gun owners. When guns get into the hands of unqualified or psychologically ill individuals, then all sorts of tragic accidents could happen even in the most peaceful communities. I believe that gun ownership should have strict guidelines and the government should be in it for approval. That's just my two cents.

i heard there is this "neurological test" that they're calling. i son't exactly know their process but i guess this is where they test how mentally sound you are.

It's a definite requirement, obviously for the fact that one should be psychologically mentally fit or normal to own such a destructive and deadly weapon. And i think psychoeducation or seminars also are a prerequisite to have a license, so information for proper handling and care could be learned.
