You know I have the same dream of writing a book and what has stopped me from publishing is that first I never finish writing a book and secondly because of the cost. Yeah it may be a lot of money, but if it is something that you really want to do, you will find a way and there is always a way. You could always save up money and even self publishing is a route to go as well, it may be cheaper then going through a publisher to approve and publish it for you. This is what I plan to do. I want to self publish for my first book. By the end of the year I want to have written and finished writing my first book and have it self published. Maybe sometimes just getting your name out there can help out a lot. If you still have the passion for drawing clothes and drawing sneakers and writing songs, then keep at it do it on the side as a hobby. If you see this is something that you want to pursue as a career, then look into avenues in what you can do to get headed towards that career. Don't let anything stop you from doing the things that you want to do.

Don't lose your dreams. Just because you are older - you can still have dreams. What do you want to do with your life. Don't let money stop you or anything else. Sit down and seriously decide what you want to do. You may need to go to school or find a publisher, etc. But don't lose your dreams. Dream on!!!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is great to hear about your passion for writing and many other things. I think u should not have paid heed to those people otherwise your book would have been published now. I think u should never think about anything while pursuing your dreams. So u want to do anything go for it and forget about the rest. What say?
