Usually I have been using the extra money I make online to catch up on bills. However I'm trying to spend less than I earn so that I can set aside more money for savings. If I keep focused on my goals I think it will get easier to do this.
Because it feels so much better to have a good savings set aside and not have to be stressed if unexpected emergencies come up. Even though I may not have a lot of money having a savings will help me feel better about my finances and just being able to do things in general. I know individuals who make a good amount of money and they are always broke because they are always spending it. So I know that at least I will be able to get a savings going well.

I believe we could see the importance of saving in almost all success books everywhere. For me, I will establish first all my plans in my investments and business online and then when my monthly income has reached a stage where I earn very large amounts monthly on a consistent basis, then I would increase my savings regularly as well.

I'm glad to hear that you are able to save your online earnings for the future. That is such a great thing. I do agree with you completely that we at times do need to earn more in order for us to be able to save. Most of our money has to go to expenses. So we have to have a little left over for savings.

I make 75.00-100.00 a month online. its not much. But I every month transfer it to my bank acct. around the 5th of every month here. Most of my home bills are die on the 15th- 20th. So months I need some or all of that money to help pay those. All depends on how my cafe did the month before. HaVE A great weekend there. See ya soon.

I make about the same monney one month with the other. But I save it for vacations. In my country, US$100 doesn`t go far when buying food. So I prefer to be thrifty as food goes (and cook nice cheap dishes) and then live 2 weeks like a princess eƱlsewhere.

@maria I'm glad to hear that you make that much. That is really great. I understand having to use it to pay bills. I know that I have had to do the same things numerous times. I hope that your cafe is did well last month.

@Marguicha I completely wholeheartedly agree with you!! I feel the same way. I would greatly enjoy saving our money and using it to take a much needed vacation. I like for us to be thrifty when it comes to food so that we can use it for other things. I will definitely have to show my husband your post.
He tends to overspend on food. I would much rather we have basic dishes and take some type of trip in a year. I'm sure he would see the benefit if we were able to do that. It's just often we all get so caught up in the how can I make my life better now.

I save the money I earn online right now. I'll be using it to add for my kids school tuition in June. I am really hoping to earn bigger online to be able to cover at least the down payment.
I am looking also into other options to add up to my earnings.

I'm glad to hear that you are able to use your online earnings for savings to go to your kids school tuition. I have been doing really good with my savings lately. I hope as well to be able to earn more with my online work but if I can't find a way to earn more then I will just have to do better about saving my money.

I cannot count on my online earnings for living so I don`t. I look at them as extras and I`m happy when I reach my self set goalss. I use that money for vacations, so I save it during the year to pay for the expemses in my travels. A couple of days ago, I paid in advance the maintenance of one of my two timeshares. I`ll I paid before December 30, I would recieve a gift towards a couple more days of lodgings. So I did.

After answering your post, I was curious as to how much money I had online. I can`t spend any money on any extra until I solve some money issues derived from helth care. So I had not even checked at paypal. I discovered that I have over $200. And I spent almost $300 a few months ago on very dumb investments.

That is a great thing to do. When we set aside our earnings even a small amount for savings-toward something, anything we are allowing ourselves the opportunity to enjoy our life more. Last summer I used a lot of my earnings to pay for a weekend vacation. It was so nice I felt so good to know that I had that money set aside. We had a great time as well.

I wish. Oftentimes though I get to spend it because money runs out and you can't help it but dip into whatever money you have left in your bank. I would love to have real savings and I hope 2013 will make that happen finally.

I'm on the same page as you. I hope that I will be able to get a good savings going. It just would make things better in so many ways. I would feel a lot better when emergencies come up.It is hard for us to make extra money so I have to save any extra we have left over. Which is really hard.

Well, so far I am just accumulating the money I earned online. My plan is to use the money for other investment instruments. I have my own separate emergency fund too, although nothing ever came from my online earning for it. I am trying to reach financial freedom the soonest time possible. So I am saving quite a bit and investing regularly. Yep, people wants to be prepared in stressful financial situations and the only thing that can leverage you with such is having saved up money.

I'm glad to hear that you are going to use your money for investment purposes. That is a good thing to see your money grow. That is great you a emergency fund already. I agree I have found this out the hard way that when hard times strike it is vital to have an emergency fund.

I started to earn online this year and I admit my earning is quite low as compare to others who have been earning hundreds of dollars a month. I am keeping everything that I earned online for something that I want to buy in the future.
I have my permanent job so I don't rely on my online income for my day to day expenses. But of course I am trying to device ways in order to earn more from online sources. Hopefully I could make a big improvement this year 2013.
Happy New Year!

Wow, it would be nice to earn hundreds of dollars online. I still haven't figured out how to do that yet either . I'm still working on it though. I hope that 2013 will be a great year for you. It is great that you working online and hoping to use your earnings for something important. It helps when you have another job that provides for your day to day expenses.
