Is Your FaceBook Name The Same As Your Mylot Name?

Of course not. I have a different name there and my FB account is actually used for business reasons. I do not air my dirty laundry in there but it's here on Mylot that I get to say everything.

My mylot name and Facebook name are very very different. This is because i use my Facebook account for some official things and its much more easier for people looking for me on Facebook to get me easily through my Facebook name. All the same, anybody who sees my picture here on mylot could get to know its me if they come across my Facebook profile. So,i guess its just how i want it to be, not because of being anonymous or anything else.

My Facebook name is a different name but also those who know me on Facebook know my real name. I am not as personal about most things on Facebook like I am here. I stay quiet in there and share and talk about things more with my real life in here.

I like to keep Facebook separate from all of my accounts, especially Mylot. I am not a big fan of Facebook, the only reason I have an account is to play the zynga games. I do actually use my real name on Facebook.

Same here I rather remain anonymous on Facebook , Facebook is more personal for me . I used my real name on Facebook and twitter . Here I can show the other side of me , facebook is where all a my friends and family are and I am more lay back there .

I am in several social networks, and I have a different nick-name in all of them, Reason? well, I don´t know, nothing in particular, it only seemed to be the best, when I joined them. Your reason, seems to be a very clever one, I have never thought about it before.

I use my real name on face book, but I use a nick name on here.I feel a lot happier with only a few of my friends being on here rather than a ton of friends. I also feel that it is harder for people to add you as well, as I like real friends on face book, as in people who I see a lot of the time, rather than just know on the internet.

I have an facebook account and it has my real name. I did it because I like to be connected with friends, relatives and long lost schoolmates/friends. I like to be connected with most people that I know and I like to be found. I don't add people that I don't know and the settings of my facebook is set to private. I wish to be anonymous here in myLot but I like my picture so I make it my avatar picture here. MyLot is like my journal too. Absolutely not. I go by my real first name and a made up name on there though. I just like my privacy. I don't want to find some old school chums and others from my High School days especially to look for me. Anonymous is fine by me. We don't have to show out photos and use our real names a all here or on FB. I do feel I am honest though in all other aspects of the sites.

Hi friend, i am sharing my wife's fb account. We both are using the same facebook account, so my name is differ in both mylot and facebook. However my wife is adding my last name as her last name, so my last name is same in both fb and mylot

I don't have the same username in mylot and my FB... My Facebook account is always on public for it is my way to communicate with my friends and relatives so it will remain in that way. Mylot username is my creation and I love it. But it will always for the purpose on doing something online... It is something more about the artistic me. ;)

My username in Facebook and Mylot are not really the same. Most of us here don't have the same username in other sites. We must be proud our username.

I don't have a username on Facebook. It is my real name. Or the I have used online for years. I talk about my family on here. Sort of a ranting and counseling situation. I find privacy very important and I don't give my families names or anything. I enjoy it here but not in diary refrain.

I created this user name years ago.... But I no longer use this name on new accounts that could associate themselves to my real name, pen name, or my Facebook account. My facebook account has a false name listed, as well as a graphic for a display photo instead of an actual photograph of myself. This has definitely been done for privacy and for legal reasons.

I have the same username on the both sites. I am not comfortabe to maintaine different username on such type of sites. As far as security concern, i have friends from different areas on facebook as well as Mylot. So all of my friends on both sites are anonymous for me.

They are definitely not the same. They have different purposes. My FB account has my real full name, including my maiden name. It's nice to have that when trying to reconnect with friends from the past. Most people I went to high school with don't recognize me by my married name. But my maiden name was very distinctive and as soon as anyone hears it that ever met us or even went to the same school, they connect it either to me or my brother. When I started my MyLot account, I had originally planned to use this as a means to get out the business name. I had originally planned to just respond to posts about education. Therefore, I used this name. But, of course, I fell under the MyLot spell. I post about everything!
