I heard the almond is most important not only old age people but for younger also in winter season. Most of the people put the almond in water not more quantity but only 5 to 6 for one person and then eat at morning with milk. Do you heard this or do you know about the benefit of almond in winter season.

Hi dear, Almond is one of the most nutritious of all nuts. In winter it makes you warm. Experts prefer to take almond early in morning by soaking overnight. The sad news is almond is very costly. Common people can’t afford the same though it is fully packed with vitamins. It reduces the risk of heart attack, prevent cancer, reduce cholesterol etc. So have you started to include almond in your diet. For me, no, I have problem of sinus in winter almond will add the problem.

ha ha who told you those who drink and smoke may not have money for dry fruits. Those people have enough money that is the reason they spend enough for their smoke drink etc. However, I am happy to know that you are getting all dry fruits at home. Enjoy.

Yes, almonds are considered to be one of the thermogenic foods. It is explained here, along with other foods that can raise your internal body temperature. www.livestrong.com/article/280896-thermogenic-diet-programs/ Although it doesn't say anything about the milk. I suspect that maybe they also were talking about almond milk. I have seen sites that tell how to make your own almond milk. I hope this helps.

Hi prashu! You're welcome. A while back somebody was asking about foods to keep you warm and I gave them a link, maybe a few links, but I couldn't find it. I looked through pages and pages of my old responses but there were too many to look through. I gave up. I think there are more foods than the ones on that link. But I'm glad it was helpful to you.

Almond is considered one of "heaty" food, it can keep you warm and so of course I think it'll be good for winter after all. They are a good source for providing warmth to your body. Almonds also are rich in essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and dietary fiber necessary for a healthy mind and body. Regular consumption of almonds may help maintain cholesterol levels because it helps increase the protein of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) or good cholesterol and lower the amount of protein of low density lipoproteins (LDL) or "bad" cholesterol. So it's very good to include in your diet not only for their providing warmth but also their nutrition.

I have never heard of it, I mean, this particular way of eating almonds, but, I am aware of the great benefits nuts has for people, they contain some escential vitamins and their oils are of great good in human's health. Although our winters are not really that strong, I eat almonds, they are delicious alone, but, I often consume them in some sorts of deserts.

Is good any day - I use on my almond and hazelnut soaps ..
Natural Brazil nut oil in skin creams and soaps helps keep skin soft and smooth. It helps lubricate and moisturize the skin, providing antioxidant benefits, helps prevents dryness and leaves skin soft, smooth and hydrated.acne soap

Yeah my mother used to so similar kind of things. Not so evidence but you very well know almond has so good nutritional benefits so how it can not be useful. Well anyways eat it, and you are not getting any less than energy and some calories but not sure if any special significance. Still I used to enjoy that earlier.

I have heard a lot of things about the health benefits of almonds. I've heard one of the reasons it's so helpful in the winter is because it contains a lot of vitamin D. During the warmer months, when we're outside more, the sun helps us by promoting our vitamin D production. Almonds can help fill the gap in the winter when we don't get as much sun.

Ok, it's now 3AM and I'm munching on almonds. Guess it's better than the chocolate I got for Christmas. But sleep would probably be even better.
