I think,a quality response is the one that is descriptive and impressive at the same time.It should have been addressing to all parts of the discussion and if possible, should have examples and arguments supporting them.Apart from this,it should be written in flawless language having no grammatical errors.A quality response should be able to leave its impression on the reader's mind.

Hello Admin1993. Welcmome to myLot.
For me, quality response is being descriptive to what you have to say in a certain topic. Tell it in a way that you are describing it. Having quality posts is much okay than making many response with no quality or just the sake of making a response.

I don't think your english is meaningless Admin1993. If you want to improve your english, I suggest that you hang in here and continue to read. In that way, you will learn more about some things and your english will improve at the same time. Being descriptive to your response also means being able to explain what you have to say.
I hope I will be seeing more of you here. Happy posting!

seriously i don't know which one is good and which one is not good...since we have different opinions of one problem...but a discussion is different with spam comments, right? when we have a long discussion with someone, we have many things to say and share, not like...just say very short sentences only.
Don't worry too much about it, i think when you have many things to share, you can give a good discussions. In fact, when i join in here, i don't think much about money earning, i just want to spend my time to read, asking, sharing my things with mylotters...

Quality if I keep it simple refers to how much correct and descriptive you are. You should not be grammatically incorrect and your response should also contain the correct matter. Originality also forms some part of your quality. You will gradually learn get to see as you read others' response how good response you had.

A quality response is well edited, you can't simply write "ok" or "lol" these are rather called spams and might be devoted and unliked. So you should reply with 2-5 sentences. Of course there isn't a real upper limit but people doesn't like reading books on Mylot.
A good response about good responses is like this.

I think quality means the content of the response or discussion. when I join to the my lot I am informed that when you give some response or discussion it should be containing at least 4 sentences and do not answer with short form. enjoy and earn more with mylot,

It isn`t so much about how many sentences you write, but about what they say. There are people here (not many, luckily) who post anything so they fill lines. I don`t bother to respond to that.

My response I guess.. lol.. anyway.. I think discussion related to d topic is quality discussion only and only if it adds value to d conversation and does not deviate from the original topic and gets you closer to d end objective.

Thanks for the good response Sir.I post only not more than 3-4 sentences,as i cannot post descriptive even if i know the answer. The reason is i don't know how to write properly.

hi Admini well I think its mostly being descriptive so that others will understand what you are saying like if you are talking about a nasty neighbor you would elaborate a bit like "he always has a sneer on his face and he never does reply if I say hi to him.
Just be more descriptive as you go along. Just pretend you are talking to us and describe things that way its easy and you will get the hang of it soon.

I explained it to you here www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2734470.aspx?p=2 in response #14 in my comment to your comment on my response. I quoted the FAQs exactly as they described what quality means to mylot and italicized it. I don't know how much clearer I can be. Response #3 in this discussion has told you to be grammatically correct. This is wrong. As long as you are understood by others, grammar doesn't matter. Neither does punctuation. Just act as if you were having an offline conversation with someone. Talking back and forth. It's as easy as that. Read the FAQs and guidelines.

Thank you Aka. I think so. Because I know that you and I continue to talk and further the discussion. So I guess it must be some kind of quality. And then sometimes Mavic comes in and adds to it. So I think that makes it better. Maybe when people talk back and forth like we do it's considered good quality. I hope so, anyway. Your discussions are good. They generate responses and even if they don't I will usually try to respond. Kind of like helping out your friends, you know? You should be able to tell by your daily earnings. I don't know what really good earnings are because I never started a discussion yet. So I have nothing to compare it to. I think I do okay, but I compare it to surveys and of course the surveys pay much more, sometimes $25-30 a week. But it's really hard and I would rather be doing something else. I might try writing for a site. I'm not sure. I need to think up an article but it's hard for me to think when I'm stressed. And did you see, Mavic's discussion got deleted. No surprise there.

I know Sir you're an old member in mylot and you understand mylot rules well. For me even if i go through their guidelines i fell difficult to understand accurately.I get good and understandable response and suggestions only if someone describe it briefly.

In my case, I look over descriptive information to a replied discussion, one that has a unique take on the subject matter.
He/She can explain in-depth the context and compare and contrast it in a way that he/she is putting personal notes over the discussion.

A quality response is simply one that furthers and/or adds to the conversation. If you repeat the same thing someone else did, you're not adding to the conversation. If you say, "I agree" (and nothing more), you haven't helped to further the conversation. MyLot asks that we use the best English we can. However, they are very adamant about demanding that no one criticize anyone else's English. We all do the best we can. Whatever that means for you. As long as we can understand you, you're doing great! It's a lot more than I can do in any language other than English. Welcome to MyLot!!!
