internet our primary need

This days the need of internet connection is our primary need, even though internet is our secondary need but most of the people use it like a primary need. Almost for everything we need internet connection, no matter how hard you try to stay away from internet but you won't be able to get away from it. We seek knowledge from internet, we apply for jobs through internet we earn from internet, we connect with others through internet, etc. without internet one's life is dull or useless this days. We learn good things or bad things from internet only, in one way or the other internet servers human being in many ways. We are using internet as our primary need, so what will happen to human beings if we have to go on living without internet?

I love the Internet. I use it to talk to clients for work. To reach prospective clients. To learn. To talk to friends. To waste time. But it's not a need. Certainly not a primary need. A need is something we can't survive without - like food. A want is something that we really like, but could live without if needed - like the Internet. Life went along fine without the Internet for many, many years. If it disappeared tomorrow, we would be just fine - those of us that use it a lot would have a hole in our lives - but we would survive. If the Internet continued elsewhere but I no longer had use of it in my home, I would either go somewhere else to get it or actually figure out another way to get the same things done. Like pick up the phone or open a book.

We are from different generations. If my 20-year-old daughter ever contemplated not having the Internet, I think she would probably feel the same as you. I don't think she can even imagine a world where she's not connected 24/7 to at least one person. It's not unusual for her to be online with 3, 4 or more different people at the same time. I see the way it was before Internet, recognize that there are many things that are much easier now with Internet, but put the Internet as a major convenience (like a car) - not a necessity.

I love internet too.
If internet really disappears tomorrow than human's life will become hard again like old times and businessman's will have to invest lots and lots of money for travelling and for sending huge files, people will have to travel overseas for job interviews, there won't be any latest news about whats happen on other countries or alert on something, etc.
Internet has made our life easy and serves us in many ways like transferring even a huge files in a minute, online interviews for jobs without travelling overseas, News about other countries or alerting for tsunami earthquake, etc.
Don't you think that internet has become our primary need?

yes and now Internet become primary need of all human beings. no body can not live without Internet . so without Internet anything can not be possible . whole world is operarte only on Internet . we can connect with the whole word with the help of social networking sites like facebook twitter etc . now to modern human beings cannot live without Internet . so you can see that Internet is the primary need of all.

I think you two are both leading to addiction... You don't know the word need from the word want. Don't you know that too much wanting for a thing not totally we need can be lead to obsession? Rephrase your statement that "nobody can not live without internet" for it is not right and not even appropriate. There are many who can live without internet. The natives who lives in the mountains, do you think they know internet? The homeless people in the streets, do you think they need internet? I am not being negative here but I am just stating a fact! You need realization, life is not dependent with internet. I love internet for it makes me smarter but I can live even without it. Living is breathing, eating, and drinking... Internet is neither an air, food nor water. So you see, post something that will not be spoiled here...

Internet is really useful... We earn from it, we learn from it, and surely it is part of us who loves the online life. But... Sorry to contradict you for I don't agree that life without internet will be useless. There are too many people who doesn't know internet at all. There are still many so for that I couldn't agree with you that internet can be a primary need. I am addicted with internet too but I could live without it if I choose to... ;)
