Good day Fellow Mylotters,
Few days to go then the year 2013 is about to start. And as the new year will soon be starting, some people starts to make a new years resolution. Creating a resolution because they want to start a new life. Listing all the new things they want to achieve for the coming year and the things they are planning to do. Thus creating new ways and new attitudes for the new year is somehow a must for some people. How about you, do you also go for new ones? Do you also make a new ways and attitudes to start on for a more enjoyable life in the next year.

Of course I do.I will never be so lazy in the new year. And today I make a decision for the new year--never to play mahjong. It is really a waste of time.I really need to enlarge my knowledge in the coming year, and be optimistic about everything.

I haven't done this in a long time but this year I have decided to make a few things my new years resolution. I think there is always something or some area we can improve on. For me one area I plan to do great in compared to previous years is start saving more.
After some hard times hit us this 2012 I have come to appreciate what a good emergency fund good do for us. I do not want to go through what we went through this past year again. So of course this will affect other areas of my life:how I spend my money, what I do for recreation, etc. So I know need to learn great ways to be resourceful and save instead of always buying something new.

I think I am a little squeamish about making new year resolutions. I get anxious .... what if I fail ? Would that not discourage me ?
However, I do try to make resolutions as I get along . May not be really daily but I look back at how the day was for me .If there are things that I dislike then I try to identify which attitude of mine led to the unpleasantness and I try not to repeat it. Its hard at times because many of our learned habits and behaviours are hard wired, difficult to erase or change in the short run.
I would like to graduate to a level where I make daily resolutions and adhere to them. This I am sure will be self reinforcing behaviour.
