I am also into fruit.I ate a whole pineapple yesterday night alone.I will get mad if there is no fruit in my home.Anyway,eating fruit does good for our health.

I like pineapples, but they are very expensive here in Mexico. But I really like them alot.

That is good.. since fruits are our source of different vitamins.. in fact we should eat a lot of it... instead of eating junkfoods and sweets we should opt for a healthy snacks which is fruits.. for myself I always see to it that atleast a day I would eat a serving of whatever fruit I have in my ref.. but my most favorite is ripe mangoes..

hi there maria peralta.
that's a lot of fruits but eating that many servings of fruits beats eating junk foods and meat. i for one would love to be able to eat fruits regularly. well, actually i do. i have at least 2 to 3 pieces of medium sized apples. i also eat watermelon, oranges, and grapes. right now, my favorite fruit to have, and i usually have this after meals, is dragonfruit.
anyway, i think i'll try to go on a fruit diet and have nothing but fruits for a day or two.

good for you then if you don't partake any junk foods.
i love sweets... candies, ice cream, cakes... if it is sweet, i'll gladly have it. anyway, for today, i'll be eating just fruits the whole day. had my first apple early in the morning paired with green tea. drinking a lot of water as well and might occasionally have black coffee as an appetite suppressant. like i said i did this before and for the whole day, i had six to eight medium sized apples and i felt fine afterwards. lose a couple of pounds but over-all what i like was that i gave my body a break from digesting a whole array of foods.

Junk foods even as a kid were not my thing. Might be because my mom and dad had a hard enough time feeding us 4 kids here. Take care.

That is great. Fruit is great to eat throughout the day. Unfortunately I cannot have any due to my diabetes. And since I am not on any medication I cannot have any. I need to control my diabetes with diet and exercise. But you are living healthy now.

I really need to eat more fruit. I love fruit! I eat a good combination of fruits and vegetables. Today I had more vegetables than fruit. I took some celery to my Uncles where I clean and I was going to have some celery and peanut butter. Unfortunately, my daughter took her tongue and ate the peanut butter. I wasn't eating the peanut butter after she had her tongue all over it. Nasty! She won't be doing that again. For dinner we had sweet peppers and green beans. Yum!

so do I, but they were 5.99 each at walmart here. The open air market had a few for 3.99 but they looked bad. To high, for me to buy one. i will wait. Happy sunday...

try to eat them with the other food groups. also if you have problem with your blood sugar levels, best to take the more sour fruits over the sweeter ones. fruits have natural sugars and although they are lower than the artificial sugars you find in other foods, you would still want to watch out that you do not overeat them.

Yes, my dr. told me the best was watermelons. I thought they had alot of sugars. But he said they were ok because they were naturals.

watermelons contain a lot of water so they're good. my doctors said the fruits on the sweeter side are mangoes and pineapples. pears are also better than apples in terms of water content.

It is good to eat lots of fruits. That is probably what is helping you get healthier. It is awesome to be able to buy it so conveniently. I guess there is no problem with it.

Fruits are always good for us there is no limitation on the amount we can take.Fruits contain less calories but more vitamins,have you heard anyone getting fat by eating apples :)Also certain fruits contain anti-oxidants which are good for our health, anti oxidants reduce the chances of stroke and cancer among other things.
