Paid to be a virtual assistant ?

Yesterday when i was searching google on ways to make money online I read something caled "Virtual assistant" and i also read thaf it pays well about $15 - $20 per hour because full time assistants are expensive these days. and i was really happy when i read it, then I did a quick search on google for being paid to be a virtual assistant at home, but unfortunetly i didnt find any thing. have you ever heard about this and did you try it? if yes please tell me the sites name.

i never heard this opportunity to become a virtual assistant to make money online also becaus i never saw a legit site asking for this activity also because it sounds like some online jobs you canfind in some sites where normally managing about different requests or contractors online making many different activities so exists also the virtual assistant position!!

I found websites that offer jobs to be a virtual assistant but insted of that i found another site for photoshop designers and it pay huge ammounts of cash, but it isnt jobs, they have contests and the winner would get from $90 - $1000 but its hard gettion the 1k. you have to be gold member inorder to participate in the huge contests. and seems legit and pays.

That rate seems too high. At Odesk, i think the average for virtual assistant job runs from $3-$5.
