I think I need a rest

I have been busy this past few days. Attended 3 days of training and I don't get enough sleep now. I'm having a cold, sneezing and my voice tend to change little by little. Need water therapy and some vitamin C for this.

i think that illnesses are our bodies way of telling us we need some rest. i know, that in my case, this is true. i seem to be on the edge of some sort of pneumonia at present. i am on two types of antibiotics but i am not sure if they are helping at all. hope you feel better real soon!

It sounds like you are really in tune to what your body needs. Yes, get those doses of Vitamin C and lots of water (I need to follow my own advice). Vitamin C is not only good for colds, but it is the one nutrient we can take that will help fight cancer. Vitamin C rocks my world. I sure hope you feel better soon, and get the rest you need.

Rest, plenty of liquids, and vitamin c should take care of that flu May. Maybe some meds for the flu would hasten the healing.

Over pushing yourself will certain wear your body down, and make you sick. You should take some time to yourself, and rest.

I too had gone another city for my training.I too felt very sleepy then.The best way to be cured is you should take water.drink at least 15-20 glasses of water and you will see yourself cured.

Becoming ill is definitely the bodies way of saying 'I need more rest'. You're right on track with water and vitamin C. Also, warm liquids for your throat if it's beginning to hurt- hot tea- peppermint with honey, I'd suggest. Honey soothes and aching throat. Chammomile is also very nice. Don't put in refined sugar if you can help it because sugar feeds viruses so it's best to avoid while you're ill. Feel better!

it might be too late for vitamin c but if you do take it drink the alkaline ones. you absorb them much better

If you eat healthy, have a healthy life style you don't need extra vitamine C. BTW your body is not able to store vit. C so if you already eat what you need a day the rest you will pee out. For the rest.. many people do have the flue and they all go on, especially if they have responsibilities for other or have to take care of others. Mothers for example. Never a free moment. And you know what? They all survive it. So how come you need extra rest? Perhaps you should sleep instead of being on the internet or?

You have really caught a cold.Taking vitamin c is good,but I would like to advice you to keep drinking warm water from time to time.This really works miracles.And yes,you need a rest now.Our family doctor had once said to me that taking rest while having cold helps a lot.If you have caught a cold,then refrain from physical labor.You will soon get cured.
