Going To The Gym For New Years Resolution

One popular new year resolution is to get healthy and start working out at the gym. Many of these resolutions fail because the new year spirit fades and people go back to their same old routine but going to the gym is a true new year resolution for me. It's an obsession for me and since I used to go before, it is even harder to get off my mind. It is much easier for a person who has never been to a gym to say they are going and never go but if you are used to going to the gym like I am, you begin to miss how good and productive it felt and it begins to change you mentally until you go back and get back to a healthier lifestyle. I do what I can at home but it is not the same, I need to be in the actual gym environment because that's where you feel the real energy and motivation. Plus I have been in 4 car accidents so it is also a necessity in order to keep my body strong for the future.

It is common for a news years resolution to be getting healthy. I think it is one of the few times that having an obsession is a good thing. I used to go to the gym every day. Now my obsession is eating and enjoying it. Much more fun than going to the gym was. Keep your body strong for your future.

Yes, moderation is the key. Very important to keep that in mind. I also go a little overboard with cookies, cakes, breads, chocolates, ice creams and I love it! I really don't care anymore. I am enjoying what I eat. I do try to be moderate but not always.

Yea it is very common but for most it fades away. For me the need to go gets stronger every day. I enjoy eating also but moderation is the key. I have gone a bit overboard with the cakes and cookies since winter came though lol

It is much better to go to the gym in the new year I wish you from my heart. it's nice when one wants to develop. I'm glad for you that you're not even going to the gym you trained at home and that is commendable. success in the new year I hope to succeed. I wish you from my heart. Happy new year!

I have never been to a gym. I would love to go often if I had a low cost membership and lived close enough to one but that is not the case. I hope you are able to stick to this new years resolution. I dont think I am making one this year at all. I usually dont.

It took me a long time before I decided to go. Then there was one that always caught my eye so I joined. I learned to go midday because thats when less people were there and I created my routine and schedule according to that. It was 50 a month but there are many gyms popping up all over with rates from 15 a month to 30. What area are you in?
