I have used paypal to get my online earnings. But when i am just starting. Way back a year or two ago, paypal have a program called "paypal wishlist" on facebook and I earned $24. Here is what happened to me, when i got the money into my account, i tried to invest it in a ptc but the ptc site returned my payment and paypal think that it is a danger to my account because they think my account is used by other person but it is not. I cant unlock my account because i cant contact them in a good way. Their replies are all like that is just answer to frequently asked questions. I cant contact their persons. Help. :(

Paypal is strict about scams and gambling. Well you can contact their toll free number and their email again and again. Well if paypal account is locked, it is because the site you were investing, paypal counted as scam. And to live their reputation they need to stop that. Well sowi but can't help much.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, i think this problem is due to the facebook program, "paypal wishlist" we must be very careful while joining with this kind of new program, i think the admin of this program hacked your account. We have the ability to contact Paypal by sending email to them as well as calling them using the number provided in the site. If we are in need to send some documents to solve our problem we can fax them using the following fax number : (402) 537-5780, otherwise we can upload the necessary documents using the resolution center. We don't have the ability to receive payments with a limited account. So we must try our maximum to remove the limitation ASAP. Some times we don't get immediate replies by sending mails through the contact us button. Most of the time we will get the automated reply, while contacting paypal through the contact button. The CC persons will reply to our mails after 4 or 5 days of receiving our complaints. If we want an immediate solution for our paypal problem, we can contact paypal using their twitter account. Use your twitter account and send personal message to @askpaypal about your issue, you must follow ask paypal to send messages to them. Paypal CC persons will give timely reply with their twitter support, some times they will ask your email to send a brief mail and give your email to them through direct message of twitter and they will contact you through your email and help you to solve the limitations. This is my personal experience. My paypal account is limited due to the name problem and i solved my issue with the twitter paypal support.

Oh. About the paypal wishlist program, they are created by paypal themselves. They are giving one dollar for every friend you invite. And they are giving many discounts. That is their program and it is even on their site that time. Maybe i will try to contact them through twitter. Thanks.

Paypal has some very strict rules as to what they will pay. I tried to get a membership on a gambling site and they sent me a message that they don't condone gambling online! I argued with them that it IS my money and I should be able to do anything I want with it. Maybe they don't let us invest either. I"ve never tried it.

You will need to call the customer service. That's the best way to get any actual help from them.

It can take anywhere from 2-4 business days for money transferred from Paypal to show up in your bank account, but yes, outside the U.S., it is about 5-7 business days. Yes, gelomon, you are correct, use the Withdraw option. There are no fees to transfer money to your bank.

This happened to me too. I was passing my earnings from my other paypal account on to my new account and paypal thought that it was a scam or something so they locked my account. I can only deposit money but I cannot withdraw or pay for anything using my old account. I read that the lock will be deactivated after a few hundred days or to confirm my account with a debit card which I don't have yet. So I never used that account again and made a new one. Good thing I only have a couple of cents left on that account.

What I can see here, you're having a chargeback. PayPal is very strict these days. Anything you do that cause them think that you're done something fraudulent, they will freeze your account. This is because they are doing further investigation on your account to make things clear. This may take quite long to settle it. At the meantime, you only can wait and check back your account status from time to time. I'm sorry I can't help you anything at this time, but to wish your account will be settled as soon as possible.
