Some places on Earth are veiled with tons of mysteries. Haunted towns, ships and vessels disappearing in certain areas of various oceans - all of that is attractive and scary at the same time. There are people who enjoy this type of tourism - they're usually referred to as extreme tourists, and their activity is called "extreme tourism."
One of the most famous ones is the Bermuda Triangle. It's a bunch of islands, where, as it was claimed before, different ships and vessels have disappeared. Some people have claimed that they witnessed such occasions by themselves in that area.
I suggest you check out some stories online and see for yourself. Bottom line - I'd be interested in something like that. Especially, if I get to witness something unusual. I'm a sucker for those.

I myself have done a bunch of the ghost towns around the US and found some of them interesting from a historical sense. I myself prefer just looking out at nature and being able to say wow that is amazing. Look up a place called G-d's window in South Africa. I really enjoyed Thailand as it was cheap and amazing(once you left Bangkok).
If you were in the US I could give you some tips on earning free miles but not sure about Canada.

Canada earns free miles with Air Miles cards. I guess it's the same in the U. S.
Ghost towns are awesome to visit. The feeling of the Wild West is quite appealing. Any more info on your impressions from travelling to the ghost towns? Or, perhaps, you have visited the places with real haunted houses, not the fake entertainment stuff?

The last ghost town I have visited was the ghost town of Jerome in Arizona. Was pretty cool to see the old mining town and all the urban legends around it.

I have never been afraid to try something different for a holiday, but the Bermuda Triangle seems to me a pointless place to visit.
Many years ago when I visited Russia, I flew 3500 miles East from Moscow into Central Siberia, where I visited Bratsk and Irkutsk. The view from the aircraft was nothing but cedar and birch forests set in permafrost for several hours, with Bratsk being a small town 500 miles away from the next population place. Nevertheless, there were people there and something to see as well, so the holiday was extremely enjoyable. In the case of the Bermuda Triangle, you would simply be in a vastly remote area of the ocean, which is hardly a very inspiring place to visit.

This has been mentioned for years, not only ships have been lost around there, but it would appear that a number of aeroplanes have vanished around the Bermuda Triangle.
One suggestion for this happening is that it could be caused by a release of methane from the bottom of the ocean around there. Methane reaching the surface of the ocean would cause ships to lose boyancy and immediately drop below the surface of the water (this could happen very quickly), and the ships would not have time to send out a distress signal. Likewise the same could happen to aeroplanes, they could just lose their dynamic airflow and crash into the sea, there is also the possibility that sparks from the planes engines could ignite the methane, causing spontaneous combustion of the aeroplane and the surrounding gas.
There are large amounts of Methane Clarthates (also known as methane hydrate or Fire Ice), deposited on the sea floor in the Bermuda Triangle area, and it is known that the methane is released into the atmosphere, sometimes in large amounts, what is not actually known is if it is the cause of some of these mysterious disappearances as there have been no survivable witnesses.

I like to visit these types of places too--I have been to a few ghost towns in the Western US, as well as one in Pennsylvania! New Orleans is another place I have visited that is shrouded in ghosts and mystery. I have visited Stonehenge, and Newgrange in Ireland--both are quite impressive, and quite mysterious...
There is a series of books here in the U.S. called "Weird..." as in "Weird NJ", "Weird NY," "Weird Massachusetts," etc. If you are interested in the mysterious, bizarre, or just plain...well, weird..places to visit here in the U.S., it is a fun and informative series to read and explore.
Hope you get to the Bermuda Triangle--and come back to tell us about it, too!

I had read some stories regarding to Bermuda Triangle before, some people might make up that story and exaggerate the whole event as mysterious as it sounds to be. But from the scientific point, it wasn't so. Some plane flight at the area might encounter severe storm and they lost control of their plane, and the electromagnetic field is stronger there to interfere the radio transmission signal. So, the only thing to be careful is fly safe and ride safe around there.

Hi ivan, let's hope that you get a chance to visit Bermuda Triangle, that's one of the most famous mysterious place on earth, even I wish to go there at least once but I would certainly not like to see anything unusual there.

Nah, I love to hear about mysteries places. However, I haven’t visited them, not because I’m scared or anything but I still don’t have enough money to travel from place to place. Bermuda Triangle is greatly interest me because it has a great mystery attached to it. How many planes and ships disappear without trace in that place. So many assumptions you hear about that place anyway. Like magnetic fields, ET, and much more.
