2012 was a fantastic year of sport..particularly here in the UK. We hosted, arguably, the best Olympics ever, our athletes over-excelled themselves and Bradley Wiggins became the first Brit to win the Tour De France. The paralympics was an equally resounding success.Along with our European colleagues we won the Ryder Cup in an astonishing comeback...the like of which will surely never be repeated. Even the England cricket team are winning games! However, the highlight of the sporting year for me has been of the equine variety...namely the stellar wonder that is Frankel. Surely the manner of his victories make him the best horse of all time. He frequently put races to bed while yawning on the bridle and could surely have gone faster if asked the question. He would have slaughtered all the best that America,Australia, France, Japan, or the rest of the world could put before him. I defy anyone to name a horse better than him.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I don't know too much about the American horse racing scene but I believe he was something of a legend there. His daughter,Betthany, is one of the original Housewives of New York and has her own series 'Betthany Ever After'. I'm not sure if you've seen it over there?
The trainer of Frankel, Henry Cecil, is battling cancer and he is the most likeable man.He is clearly upper class but manages to connect with people from all walks of life ....he seems a wonderful guy.
