I am so color blind its not even funny. I can't tell the difference in some colors. Yesterday I had set out to buy a red shirt. Because well I need to get me some extra red shirts for work. I honestly only have one red shirt right now. And well today I had to make it work. But I went to the store yesterday to buy a red shirt and well I thought it was a red shirt. So I wake up this morning to find out that the shirt that I bought was not red. I didn't know this until my husband told me, that what I bought was not red and that it was orange. Grrr. I seriously thought it was red otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. All the more shows how color blind I am I can't believe I bought an orange shirt.

Sometimes it is hard to tell between colors especially after you looked at certain color for too long. Another case would be the lighting. Sometimes I also bought shirts with colors that I want but after returning home I find them to be in slightly different colors. So the lighting at the boutique or clothes store could be a factor causing you to have chosen a shirt with wrong color.

Uh uh, sorry to hear that you bought the wrong color.
Maybe next time ask for assistance to avoid getting the wrong color my dear.
Or maybe you can return it to the store and ask for a red shirt as a replacement.

Hope you were able to return it. I am like you in that I cannot wear anything orange or have it in my house unless it is the kind I can eat. I think the trouble is that the lights they have in the stores do not show the true colour until you go outside and then you look like a sick ghost.

I would go back to the store and explain to them that you are colored blind. I would see if you can exchange the orange shirt for a red one that you like. I am sure there is some way to make the situation right.

Hi trisha.
Well I can only imagine how it might feel to be colorblind. But since you were born that way and hence you are able to tolerate everything. I am not sure how I would react if suddenly I become colorblind. By the way didn't the shopkeeper tell you that it was not a red shirt but a orange one. Anyways have a nice day and wish you a very happy new year in advance...
