Yep, my little girl is turning 2 years old at the end of January. Another year has gone by for her and she has done lots of growing and changing. I've already started planning out her birthday. Months ago I told people when we where planing it to be for and where at. A few days ago I reserved the day of which her birthday party is going to be at. Which is chuck e cheese again. We are having both sides of our family show up on the same day and knock it out all in one go. I really don't like having several different birthday parties just so that everyone can have there time with our daughter and also because they dont' want to grow up and get alone so if they want to spend a day with my daughter they have to be nice to each other for 2 hours. I did free evites so I didn't have to go to the store and spend money on stamps to mail out her invitations.

You are definitely a momma on the ball with getting your daughter's birthday party planned plenty of time in advance. That has always been an area where I have personally had significant shortcomings. I always end up doing something for my children at the very last minute. That said, I do think that Chuck E Cheese is a great choice of venue for a second birthday as that is what we did for Kathryn when she turned two years old and all of our friends and family members had a good time and the kids did as well.

I too have had parties at Chuck-e-Cheese..it is also a good place for a little older kids when you start inviting more of their friends..I have also held B-parites at McDonalds and they too do a good job if the Micky D's is large enough.

I Virgina MC'D's not a good place for parties. Chuck E Cheese is always a good place for any age. It's only family this year because she is 2 she really has no friends outside of family.

ShyBear88 Awww congrats..2 is a beautiful and fun time..lol as long as the 'terrible twos' do not show up. Chuck-e-Cheese is a good choice...spares your house from all the cleaning and mess!! Having the whole family on both sides is a great idea..no doubt you will take a lot of pictures and those will be cherished by your daughter for years to come. Have an awesome party!!

Awww, I have a 1 year old granddaughter, almost 3 year old grandson and almost 5 year old granddaughter. Their accomplishments, birthdays, and holidays are extremely joyous for me. Not that my own childrens wasn't, but, at that time I was extremely busy, raising 5 babies (my oldest was almost 6 when my youngest was born, so I have 5 babies all under 6), working, keeping house clean. I had a heck of a time then. Now I'm enjoying the little ones to the fullest extent that I can!

Both of my little ones are 17 months and 2 days a part for each other. I enjoy every little moment with them and especially holidays and there birthday's. My second baby is a boy so I get to really have fun going back and forth between them.
